It's funny to see how few people comprised a game development team back then, and yet it was still a great game. Nowadays, the ending credits of a game take over 10 minutes.
I always thought the message when you won the pro tournament was kind of lame. Something like "See you in the Hall of Fame!" would have been more appropriate...
But still, the best Ice Hockey game on the NES, hands down!
Thank You!!! I've ben waiting to her this again since 1989, which was the last time I beat this game. Tried to play a few years ago just to get to the ending and I couldn't even score a goal. I've been tainted by all the newer hockey games and just couldn't grasp the old floaty controls. Thanks! Konami always had the best music.
