@comfortablynumb1998 Its one of those things where you can't find an answer if your looking for one. I personally think that most of it is nonsensical. It gives people the freedom to make there own idea on what its about, like one of those optical illusion pictures. some people see a fancy wine glass, others see two people kissing.

1 Radiohead hates music videos. he thinks of them as promotional tools used to make money and the only we he wants to make music videos is if they are out of the ordinary and strange. this way the record companies wont be trying to make money off of them

2 Radiohead likes having creative and indipendent directors make their videos. So maybe they picked a creative director to do what ever they wanted for the video. this could explain all of the underlining meanings and strange concepts

@jpatc4 Sorry, I meant to type that Thom Yorke hates music videos. I know how many people are in the band: Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Ed O'Brien, Phil Selway, and if you count their new live drummer, Clive Deamer. I don't know their exact philosophy on music videos but the fact that Thom Yorke has stated in countless interviews that he "hates them" gives me a pretty good idea of what they think of them.
