No, it was never bit in the first place. Lots of animal doctumentaries are made using captive bred animals and then the footage is edited to make up a story. That is why you don't see the snake actually bite the monitor lizard. There is no reason not to show it - unless it never happened. Look up animal documentary deception on Youtube.

A direct of famous animal documentaries admits they use captive bred animals, sets, and edit footage together to create a made-up story. This is nothing new. you're right in the sense that it is in fact a reptile, but technically the ورل is different species... well... different family and, therefore, subfamily and its called Toad-Headed Aggama..

even الضب -which looks similar to the monitor lizard is not one of them. It's called Egyptian Mastigure, same family as the toad-headed aggama but a different subfamily :)

the Monitor Lizard in the Video and the Waral ( desert monitor ) are species of the family ( Varanus ) and it includes all species of monitors such as this on and the savannah monitor , nile monitor , Komodo dragon and desert monitor :)

and about the ( ضب ) it's a very different lizard , it's called ( Uromastyx ) and there are many species of these too :)

and the ورل is the Arabic name of the family ( Varanus ) ( in English : Monitors )
