  • what is the red stick

  • @elli0t0t A carbon fiber rod used as a reference for making the lightsabers.

  • very adcucational.

But how you did this force stuff?

  • Around 2:11 Ryan uses yellow saber and Dorkman uses blue saber.

Maybe the color should be reversed.

Because Ryan should used blue saber and Dorkman should used yellow saber.

  • @rikblaze if you look when they are holding each others wrists and move into the position i presume your talking about you can see that ryan is still holding the hilt of the blue lightsaber with his right hand

  • @rikblaze No, they're not, check again.

  • cool

  • how did you do the severed arm effect? me and my brother are making a lightsaber video and in one scene i get my arm cut off, so i need to learn how to do that.

  • @tsl3161991 its easy buy a toy arm and wrap it tight or there are tutorials some people are dumb not to look at them

  • I think the hardest part of being an actor in one of these videos is trying not to make the "woooaooowww" and "btcshhhhh" sounds when ever you move your lightsabers or hit them against each other.

  • @ChipNick87 NO The hardest thing is editing the effects, believe me...

  • @EddieNeeds100Deeds I meant as an actor, not an editor. I even said that.

  • 4:29 how do they do that?

  • @thebouncerplayer some one throws the lightsaber hilt towards them!

  • @thebouncerplayer Guesswork, mostly. You can overlay a lightsaber, even if you don't have the prop blade on the screen.

  • do you have in the dvd a full resolution untouched version?

  • There should totally be a Ryan/Brandon/Dorkman showdown. That would be so awesome!

  • DAMN.

  • i like this one

  • and no...

none of my videos have got anything to do with starwars

  • what happend with raw in 6:16

  • 6:16 was stolen form starwars lol

  • there wasnt a raw for that part, it was all special effects

  • the douchebag i the black looks fucking annoying like death

  • where did you get the untouched version?

  • from the DVD. you can buy it at their website

  • awesome they are,I wanna spar with them

  • IIt was becouse rotoscoping (Hand masking) the lightsabers would be too hard, couse the wire above them. Sorry for my bad english...

  • thats what i thought but how would it help them?

  • They could just create the mask using a color key function.

  • y did they use the force x under the grating at 1:51?

  • they used those particular sabers because it was dark under the grating, and they wanted the glow to show up on their clothes and skin well, since in the dark, its really easy to notice the glow.

  • Why did they make themselves whiter? XD

  • It was part of the color correction process. Most of the raw footage had a red tint that was balanced out with some blue added in post production to balance out the overall color of the film,

  • Well, I think if they left the original colours, they would look more natural.

  • Sometimes natural isn't what is wanted depending on what the film is about or what kind of atmosphere the characters are in.

  • Where did you find this footage?

  • Sources.

  • What kind, if I may ask?

  • The anonymous kind.

  • he was just sad enough t o buy the dvd :P

  • THAT IS COOL!! I was watching the raw footage 90% of the time. I was absolutely AMAZED that the Ryan cut in half at 6:17 was COMPLETELY digtal!!

When Dorkman was hit in the face by his own lightsaber at 4:07, I originally thought someone kind of lightly tossed his prop at his face, then Dorkman put

some acting into showing he was hit pretty hard. TURNS OUT, the hilt was DIGITAL!!

    That is pretty cool!!

  • @Littledude514 Get the DVD, it's not digital, just digital processed.

  • can u upload the effects they do from the dvd like the wall etc

  • There is nohting like that on the DVD unfortunately. I wish there were though.

  • Actually, since they used it alot more times and usually it was in the dark or something. I thought of it as a lighting reference or something that wouldn't hurt Dorkman (when Ryan was pushing the lightsaber into Dorkman).

  • Let me guess, the FX Lightsaber used in 1:33 was used for the reflection of the lighsaber from the water?

  • Sort of, Dorkman used the reflection as a key reference point to extract the blue color and add the glow to the extracted reflection along with an additional blue glow, thus creating an automatically rotoscoped sabor reflection in the water.

  • ok thx

  • what kind of light saber are they using with the red blade?

  • Its gaffers tape they put on the carbon fiber rods so that its easier to rotoscope them when adding the lightsabor effects
