Lip-syncher is not the first time it happend in Olympics. Salt Lake City Winter Olympics is a prime example. As the furry white creatures sang during the opening ceremony, it was actually pre recorded by SLC's, Cathedral of the Madeleine choir school.
Lip-sycher is no big deal, but out of JEALOUSY, western media have to nitpick small things and blow it all out of proportion to make the best opening ceremony in history seem as though it wasn't as spectacular as most people perceived it to be.

I'd trust the director who made the decision. I mean, a man who have the skills to coordinate so many people to make the successful opening ceremony, is not likely not to understand the reasoning we have here. He is the one who knew the situation best, and he made the most rational decision. Discussing the reasoning here is good, but criticizing the "ill motivation" or "bad impact" on the girls is first of all not based on facts. Who knows the truth behind it? Reporter can tell it differently.

Okay, I dont agree with the girl not being able to show herself on stage, it was mean to say that she wasnt 'cute' enough etc. At least both of the little girls names were in the Credits,not just one of them, at least the girls name who wasnt able to sing on stage was mentioned in Credits. There is a difference. Milli Vanilli took the initiative in themselves to do the lip-synching while the Lin Miaoke and Yang Peiyi were just tasked to do so.
Second, Milli Vanilli lip-synched to earn tons of money for personal gains while the two girls, Lin and Yang, were assigned to do so for "national interest" as said by the director of the ceremony.
