well heres some honesty. your 5th positions didnt close. u are jumping to ur boxes, which is bad for ur body and very unattractive to watch, you need to get over ur boxes more. your very turned in and not controlled, ballet is a strive for perfection. keep trying.

You're not strong enough. You have very nice feet, yet you are not platforming properly. You also shake and wobble when you go up, and it scares me a bit. You need HARDER shoes. Very advanced, experienced dancers can wear really soft pointe shoes and support themselves properly, but you look like you need some more help from the shoe. Hopping up onto pointe is okay, but it depends on how you do it and what style of training you're getting. I would suggest rolling up instead for now.

@bieberfever0010 Definitely! The elastics are what really keep the shoes on your feet. The ribbons you can go without actually- but I still don't recommend that because the more support, the better. If you are just starting pointe, then you REALLY need the support while you learn how to balance and manage your weight on a smaller area. :D
@Jez72996 yeah...I think that would help a little bit more.....and also, the top of your shoe (that sits on the top of your foot) is nearly collapsing and doesn't come up high enough on your foot. I think that it is definitely time for a new pair of shoes with a thick elastic, prearched, no tapered box and thicker ribbons too. Try Bloch.

You need really strengthen your turnout and ankles as theyre extremely wabbly and that combined with you jumping up on pointe and not going over your box, youre gonna break your ankles... Dont jump straight from flat feet to pointe! You need to go through demi-pointe, and lastly sllloooowww dowwwnnn... especially with echappés, until you perfect all the above things, going so quickly does not make them look any better.

It's alot harder to rise en pointe than to just pop up onto pointe. practice your releve at a slower pace, hence using classical music when doing barre work. Get those ankles strong and the rest will come easily. =)

You need a harder shank. I am the same way I have to get the hardest shank I can find. Make sure you are on your box when you are only on one foot and pull up. Just by seeing your feet I can tell that you upper is not being held. Slow down and make sure you are warm because you look like you are about to break. good luck! :D

right first off your pointe shoes are way too weak get new ones and turn your ankles out also do more strengthening exercises to make your ankles stronger though your arch is okay you turn out is yuchk so work on it and keep practising :)

When you do echupes and what you were doing after those, try not to hop up onto your shoes. Doing that repeatedly is a sure fire way to lose some toenails. Also, try to get all the way up on your box, as it will make things much easier. And please get new shoes. They look so dead and painful, or as my ballet teacher would say "house slippers"
i don't know a lot about point, but i really think you should get new pairs of shoes. on 3:39 i got so nervous i thought you were going to break your ankle. i suggest you take more ballet and then start in pointe all over again.
NO NO NO NOOOOOO!!!!!!! Don't do EXACTLY what you aare doing...its sooo bad for your feet! Dancing on dead pointe shoes may be conviniant for now, but in the long run its REALLY bad for your feet. your pointe shoes are broken babe, my advice is get some new shoes, strengthen your ankles and break them in slowwwwwwly, also use resistance bands to help strengthen they are great for ballet work
SLOW DOWN!! try a thera band to strengthen your ankles. work on rolling through your foot to get en pointe as opposed to jumping onto pointe. your shoes look almost dead. the box was squishing. work on getting COMPLETELY over your box, it will be easier on your ankles and feet as a whole. please if you are not getting professional instruction do not continue pointe until you are.

a couple things:
1. DON'T jump up to get en pointe! you could hurt yourself really badly.
2. talk to your teacher before you go en pointe by yourself. you don't seem strong enough.
3. the cloud thing. really?
4. you're going to break your ankles.

You need a harder shank. I am the same way I have to get the hardest shank I can find. Make sure you are on your box when you are only on one foot and pull up. Just by seeing your feet I can tell that you upper is not being held. Slow down and make sure you are warm because you look like you are about to break. good luck! :D

right first off your pointe shoes are way too weak get new ones and turn your ankles out also do more strengthening exercises to make your ankles stronger though your arch is okay you turn out is yuchk so work on it and keep practising :)

1. your box is too soft so it isnt giving you enough support
2. you need to point your feet more so you get a better arch

When you do echupes and what you were doing after those, try not to hop up onto your shoes. Doing that repeatedly is a sure fire way to lose some toenails. Also, try to get all the way up on your box, as it will make things much easier. And please get new shoes. They look so dead and painful, or as my ballet teacher would say "house slippers"

i don't know a lot about point, but i really think you should get new pairs of shoes. on 3:39 i got so nervous i thought you were going to break your ankle. i suggest you take more ballet and then start in pointe all over again.

NO NO NO NOOOOOO!!!!!!! Don't do EXACTLY what you aare doing...its sooo bad for your feet! Dancing on dead pointe shoes may be conviniant for now, but in the long run its REALLY bad for your feet. Plus, never never NEVER jump on pointe....really bad for you! Make sure you are taking classes at least three times a week with a trained professional. This video made me so nervous!

your pointe shoes are broken babe, my advice is get some new shoes, strengthen your ankles and break them in slowwwwwwly, also use resistance bands to help strengthen they are great for ballet work

SLOW DOWN!! try a thera band to strengthen your ankles. work on rolling through your foot to get en pointe as opposed to jumping onto pointe. your shoes look almost dead. the box was squishing. work on getting COMPLETELY over your box, it will be easier on your ankles and feet as a whole. please if you are not getting professional instruction do not continue pointe until you are.

make sure on ur releve ur going rite upp on pointe, ur onli half way. i think u shuld do rises on the barre with one foot doing the number that is double urage, so u can get a little stronger :D

You can tell that your ankles are not strong enough and u need new pointe shoes they are to broken in AND ur not in a full pointe so u shouldn't do pointe if u don't even have a good pointe
