@helljumper51 I'm sorry but I'll never respect the soldiers who "defended" Germany during WW2, they are all in one way or another responsible for the deaths of millions. The small handful of true Germans who tried to assassinate Hitler and disrupt the Nazis are the true defenders of Germany and they will be remembered, not the Wehrmacht.

Good edits to the song narrative, and you obviously love Band of Brothers and Metallica. In a much less harsher way though, I would have to agree with ddd1953. BoB is a magnificent production. It doesn't need any music upgrades. BoB is probably the best war film ever made (breaking it into 1 hr segments and calling it a mini-series doesn't change that) and an incredibly difficult standard to meet, but keep up the good work on something original and you might find yourself in Hollywood someday.

Actually marines didnt fight against german army, probably the best army of that time. Japs were fanatics, but they were not trained and equipped like ss divisions.

I've read the book and can say they did excellent, part five "CrossRoads" could have been more detailed but it doesn't matter to much.

The German paratroopers engaged the American paratrooper twice in France and defeated them twice. The American paratroopers usually got weak, green recruited lines to fight against. The idea was to crack those vulnerable lines. They never faced very tough opposition like the Wehrmacht or Red Army!
A soldier called Robert Van Klinken (he died in Son, Netherlands during Operation Market Garden) is my family. I'm from Holland, and Robert left his country in the 1930's, to make it big in the USA. And he was in Easy Company, and he died there.

@34ytrhtrghrf and i didnt see the airborne getting stabbed in their fucking sleep by a suicidal enemy that we had defeated nor did we have any nice little houses to live in while we were fighting we had to fight in foxholes night and day going crazy from being sleep deprived or any women to comfort us... and also u say that you had to storm what three beaches during the war we had had to invade at least 20 horrifying islands while fighting the enemy and disease if thats enough proof for u

What about those who got caught stuck in trees, too high for anyone to help? If you think Army and Airborne weren't sleep deprived... you are an absolute idiot. Go back to your "Modern Day" shooter games that praise Marines so much. You obviously can't deal with the fact that every branch has its perks and faults.

Good edits to the song narrative, and you obviously love Band of Brothers and Metallica. In a much less harsher way though, I would have to agree with ddd1953. BoB is a magnificent production. It doesn't need any music upgrades. BoB is probably the best war film ever made (breaking it into 1 hr segments and calling it a mini-series doesn't change that) and an incredibly difficult standard to meet, but keep up the good work on something original and you might find yourself in Hollywood someday.

@34ytrhtrghrf where was the army when the marines stormed every island outside of japan. in the heat at 120 degrees taking airfields. fighting off japanese that ran at them whie the slept. me and u and everyone who commented this vid knows the marines had it way harder

Actually marines didnt fight against german army, probably the best army of that time. Japs were fanatics, but they were not trained and equipped like ss divisions.

@chriscrazy871 the army was fighting right along with the marines, and they fought in germany, truth is, the marines never fought a war without the army being there, and their biggest specialty?? water? well guess who did the biggest amphibious assault! the army, as well as an air assault, and army rangers climbing rocky cliffs while getting shot off one by one, and still managed to take over their first bunker within 90 minutes, so who did have it harder????? Army!!!!!

@chriscrazy871 lol, marines never even met the nazis cuz they couldn't take over a few islands without the army's help! so yea...marines can act cocky and think they won the war, but in reality they didn't do much except hop a few islands, the army took over an entire country and had to back up the marines...so yea...marines dont get full of yourselves

@wasupekar actually the army didnt help that much in the pacific war plus the marines had to fight since 1942 and the army till late 1943 and with the amount of soldiers the marines had they couldnt fight 3 countries at the same time japan germany and italy the army however could take on two because the amount of soldiers they had was far greater then the amount of soldiers the marines had i respect all branches i love the army and marines navy etc. just saying. zak out..

@wasupekar If you knew your history, then you would know that the Marines faught in the Northern Pacific, and the Army never "Backed up the Marines." In many cases, they changed the command of the islands to the Army so the Marines could go elsewhere. And those "few islands", or historically, more than 100, carried booby traps, malaria, unbearable heat, and the worst conditions possible. No one should ever be bashed if they've served. Especially by someone who hasn't.

@yellowredyellow121 Yep, it was. The book "Band of Brothers" was written on accounts of all members of E. Company they could track-down. Including: Maj. Dick Winters, Lt. Spears, Lt. Welsh, Capt. Nixon and others. Letters sent home by the members of 506th were also included. I've read the book and can say they did excellent, part five "CrossRoads" could have been more detailed but it doesn't matter to much.

@34ytrhtrghrf They did not fear the American paratroopers at all. They had respect for them but, they did not fear them. The German paratroopers engaged the American paratrooper twice in France and defeated them twice. The American paratroopers usually got weak, green recruited lines to fight against. The idea was to crack those vulnerable lines. They never faced very tough opposition like the Wehrmacht or Red Army!

A soldier called Robert Van Klinken (he died in Son, Netherlands during Operation Market Garden) is my family. I'm from Holland, and Robert left his country in the 1930's, to make it big in the USA. And he was in Easy Company, and he died there.
