I truly don't know why everyone is complaining, OBVIOUSLY Yoshiki has to experiment, I mean, every album was different, or, are you going to tell me that Drain and Vanishing Love are similar??, of course not, but ALL their songs have always had the signature melody of X, and it' the same in here, I didn't have to listen more than 20 seconds of this song to know that this song ( and every other new one ) has the same emotion on it :D , just remember, after all, we freaking love them ;)

@addicted0620 Yeah, you're right, they feel a little different, but, seriously, keep in mind that hide is not around anymore, and although Yoshiki is the one that writes the riffs and pretty much everything in X, hide made always arrangements to the songs, sometimes, tiny ones, sometimes big ones, and he also composed ALL the solos along with Pata, so it's not easy to them be as they used to be in the 80/90's, and alongside with the fact I said in the other comment, we come up with these songs.

I don't care if they're not as crazy and technical as they used to be; I'm just glad they're back together again and their signature melody is clearly present in their new materials. And now Sugizo is art of the band! Never expected that, but it's the perfect choice, especially him playing the violin with Yoshiki on piano. and what also disappoints me is the serious lack of guitar solos in their new songs. I mean they have gaps in the songs where a guitar solo should be but idk if it's because of hide's death because if it is that would just be utterly stupid. Just my opinion though.
