All this would have been the early- mid 60s. Probably around Brooklyn in the Dennison, W.25th areas.......I didn't know any Gaylords. My cousin said he heard of them but didn't remember where their turf was.

Most of the Italian gangs would have been around Murray Hill. A lot of those guys became wise.

There are a lot of Albanians up near Fordham, but the 187th Street area is still Italian shops and restaurants. What is happening is that the children of the Italian business owners no longer live in the area. I talked to many and they live outside the city, today. Hopefully, that will change.

I will have to make it up to Irish neighborhood someday. I have been to Woodlawn, but I did not get to the other side of the cementary. I just rode the number 4 up there. I don't know how the Bedford Heights neighborhood is, but that use to have a lot of Irish there as well. The Duckies gang was from that area.
