How can you say that christians are insane? Yeah, go ahead and list the people that have killed people. Go ahead and say there are muslims that are terrorists. Does that mean that all christians and muslims agree with killing thousands of innocent people? Does that mean that all christians agree with what every single christian does? No. What about all of the lives that Christianity has saved? Have you ever taken that into account? Or is that just another "psycho in disguise" to you?
@GPLguitar And, as to the unimportant to the point tongue-in-cheek portion of the video you were trying to respond to, you don't seem to have understood it either. I was ridiculing the idea that absolute faith in an unproven idea without solid evidence, like God or my idea that religion drives people insane, should be respected by those who do not share it simply because someone does actually have faith in the idea or concept. Was it really so unclear that you couldn't understand?
Your life would be better if you just stopped worrying about other people and started to look at yourself. That is what atheists can not handle about christianity. It is the fact that there are people that have a moral code that rubs against the atheists love of self.
@Stuballs84 You get your morals from the bible? So you are all for slavery, genocide, child sacrifice, animal sacrifice, and marrying by rape, and absolute obedience to something that you've never seen or heard from except through a book written by bronze age men? Yeah, I can see why it's appealing to you.
@renegade4dio Your forgetting about the cross of Jesus. Anyway I will remain secure in my faith while you toe toddle about looking for something that fills that empty feeling you have that you just can't seem to fill. As long as you waste your time speaking against your creator and people that have submitted their will to God you will never find what your looking for.
I keep it simple and call it Christ-insanity. There is nothing wrong with the word faith (A strongly held belief or theory)
The religious attack everyone else so the ones being attacked by them have to defend their side, when the religious are not actually producing any evidence for their side.
@RetSquid aww spammer troll had a black eye HAHA! If your comments are trollish and boring then it's your fault you got blocked for being a boring troll. What's cowardly is spammers like you who refuse to prove the claims of their cult while attacking someone else's lack of belief.
Lets say you're not a troll. Fine! Prove your cult. Prove the bible to me without using the bible. Prove you are not just some scum bag troll that doesn't have a clue about anything and Coherently define God for us all to know you are for real. Or dodge the questions and I'll simply ignore you and we will all see you for the troll you really are.
@RetSquid Nice fail. Great lulz. Kalim's argument is flawed badly. It assumes everything has a cause and then uses a special pleading exemption for god. And that's just one of its failures. Most importantly, even if we were to ignore all of Kalim's flaws, you still have all your hardest work ahead: Kalim only argues for a non-interventionist Deist God. You still need to get from there to your religion of choice.
@RetSquid The universe. And don't say it began at the Big Bang. As far as we know, it existed forever before then as well, just not in the form we know it. Modern physics merely says that the big bang is a point in time that we cannot "see" past. That our current conception of time itself begins there. There are plenty of ideas of what it might be, but nobody can really prove anything. You STILL ignored the real problem. Not that I'm surprised.
@RetSquid The fact that Kalim's argument, if you choose to ignore its flaws at every step, only goes far enough to say that something that you choose to call "god" caused the universe to exist. It doesn't get you to religion. It does nothing for Allah, Yahweh, or any other deity. It tells you nothing about this cause.
But, you have no proof that it began(metaverse), you can't prove that an infinite can't exist, you can't prove that everything has a cause(quantum mechanics). Kalim's made of Fail
LOL!! The Universe is here, it must have had a beginning. "Infinity" does not exist, you can always add one to infinity, and then one more to that infinity, which means the other 'infinities' weren't 'infinity'.
I'm I supposed to prove the God exists or that Jehovah/Yahweh exists? Is there a difference?
@RetSquid "God is here, it must have a beginning." Why not? Then you fail to understand infinity. If you really understood infinity, you wouldn't make such a sophomoric mistake. Time for some math classes.
And YES, there's a huge leap from "something caused the universe, I'll call it god" and any deity you name. The really hard part. And you can't even create a convincing argument for a cause at all with Kalim. Sorry, still failing miserably. I'm enjoying laughing at your flailing.
You must have some sort of mental disability or some other deficiency. You keep misunderstanding my argument in order to insult me. How is my statement about infinity wrong?
@RetSquid Just listen to yourself. Uncaused cause. WOW if ever there was a misnomer and a obvious contradiction. The failure of religion to coherently define their god shows they only have lies to support their child genital mutilation cult
@RetSquid Kalim uses no evidence. To expand on what GKA was saying step up and define your "God". What is it? Does it exist? If it exists, and everything that exists has a cause, why should it not have a cause? Because you want to make a special case for it not having a cause? Why not save a step and say the Universe has no cause? Why Imagine something to answer a question (What caused the Universe?) that has to break the premise of the argument(Everything must have a cause.)?
Everything that **begins to exist** must have a cause, God has always existed, therefore He has no cause. The Universe began to exist, therefore it had a cause.
@RetSquid Still failing. You must prove that there is a reason to treat your cause (that you are calling god) different from the universe. Otherwise it's "special pleading" and a fallacy. I say that there's no reason to say the reality began at the big bang, only that our current ability to understand reality looking back ends there. I say there's no reason to make your "god" an exception to your premise that everything has a cause. I say that even the premise "everything has a cause" is flawed.
There was no time or space before the Big Bang so there could be no 'reality'.
Again, I never said that everything had a cause. I said that everything that begins to exist has a cause. You say that you don't know what was before the Big Bang, I say God was, so you have already conceded that you can't say that I am wrong in that statement.
@RetSquid Why would I care to deny the fact that you can't prove your cult? I'm an ATHEIST BECAUSE OF YOUR FAILURE TO PRODUCE EVIDENCE! I'm not lacking belief in your cult because I put forth a false proposition that there is NO GOD. Just like you are not putting forth a proposition that there is no purple snizzlebrkidl from the planet orange who grants wishes if you believe in him. You simply have no belief because I've offered NO proof....Why do you fucktards fail so hard?
Why are atheists like you so mad at the World? Maybe you DO need a belief in God to enjoy life and not be continually pissed off? You can't prove that God does not exist and I can't physically prove to you that He does. But I have subjective proof that He does, just as everyother Christian does, a personal experience that is both unique to that person and common with all Believers. So are people have the same exact mass delusion or is it real? Does that make it real?
@HHOinfo Of course you're quite right. It isn't even remotely that simple. Nothing ever is. For me this was more of a chance to make fun of "I believe it, I have faith, I don't need actual evidence, don't question it" than anything else. But, it wouldn't be even remotely funny if it weren't at least partly true. I think it is at least partly true that religion leads to insane thinking and decisions.
They call Biffi a retired bishop of Bologna? I guess that means he's past his best before date. Personally, I think he's still full of bologna. These types are usually fearful of being declosetted, so it wouldn't surprise me to find out he's been partaking of the hot italian sausage himself. Then again, maybe he's feeling left out and would like to be gaylee prosecuted. What's the punishment; impalement on an organ? Ok, I'm just being silly. Or am I? (que some kind of ironic soundtrack.)
@RichardRoy2 Nice to hear from you. I haven't seen any videos from you lately... Have I just missed them?
And, of course, your tongue in cheek response is exactly what this deserves. Just enough truth in this rant to be scary/funny. The real point is buried in the "I believe it, I have faith, I don't need evidence, DON'T QUESTION IT!" :)
@renegade4dio Y'know, being so busy I don't get time to do much YouTubing has benefits; so nice to know I'm missed. ;-) But on the other hand, I miss everyone, too, so there are limits.
And I so did enjoy this video. Funny thing is, the slap in the face is likely not even noticed by the faithful. Well, when you have to repress in order to keep God and yourself from knowing your sins, you'll never notice a piece of evidence if it slaps you up the side of the head. Damn! Sounds profound.
Cardinal Biffi is accusing the homosexuals of all the things that the church has been doing for hundreds of years.... It's kind of frightening how one can twist logic like that.
@Volvagia89 Frightening is a good description. I actually think that there's just enough truth in this rant to make it scary/funny. For me, the real point was to make fun of the "I believe it, I have faith, I don't need evidence, DON'T QUESTION IT!"

GPLguitar 1 year ago
@GPLguitar Your comment has almost nothing to do with the point of the video. I'll try to explain it simply for you:
1) Abrahamic faiths have persecuted homosexuals for as long as they have existed, and continue to persecute any way they can
2) Secular society has begun to stop them from persecuting gays
3) Being thwarted, they scream persecution
Can't you see the insanity of claiming persecution for not being allowed to persecute?
