This Movie has many flaws, and diddnt really impress me. But i still love it. Great graphics. I kinda like East Asian kind of works. Its where the hero is weak, but overcomes it and gains strength. Unlike western way where they overcome adversity with their own strength.

This movie lacked depth of storyline and characters... animation seemed to lack except for the action scenes... This trailer basically shows the highlights of the movie :\

I also hated the main character, the ending had no closure whatsoever so you never find out what happened to the other characters - in my book it's a 3/5

finished downloading and watching this movie about 2 hours ago. IMO its not as horrible as some people have made it out to be. That being said, it isn't that good of a movie either, definitely not up to par with any of Hayao Miyazaki's movies, but lets face it, its a relatively entertaining anime movie, so let's all just enjoy it.

This is anime at its finest. Its funny how people thought it sucked but I thought it was awesome. That just shows that sometimes you gotta watch something for yourself instead of listening to other people. There's lots of things to love about the story and the animation.

I just watched this movie at Fantasia Fest, and you should avoid it at all costs. The characters are two dimensional and boring, the dialogue is an endless stream of cliches, the pacing is terrible and hectic and to paraphrase Ben "Yahtzee" Crowshaw, the movie introduces new characters and plot elements the way a randy horse introduces his powerful, turgid cock.

Miyazaki could eat a bowl of alphabet soup and crap out a better story than this. Do NOT waste your money on this
