  • My hand cramps just watching this :)

Nice work. If I had the dough, I'd propably buy the Yahama JPII

Heh... I just noticed I've been here a year before. Still badass

  • That was killing bro, I'm still working on thus tune, I think you just nailed it, nice work.

  • is it much harder to play(vs the jp1) becouse of the 35 scale(string tension) ? i have ordered the same bass!!! :)

  • @marbjazz well, it will depend on each individual.

In my opinion it could be a little more challenging on the low range due to neck size and length, and the body might be one or two inches bigger. I think the bass is about 2 inches longer. It barely fits in my gig bag.

But it's a little easier to play in the upper range, I suppose because you have two extra frets, so it feels like you have easier access to some of those high notes. those two extra frets gets the neck out of the body a little.

  • What are playing through/ recording with?

This is sweet and sounds amazing

  • @myusernameissocool actually believe it or not, I am playing through one of those tiny SWR LA 8!!! lol and the recording comes straight from the mic on my camera, one of those tiny Sony blogger I think...

    Thank you!
