  • Its pretty thin. Not as thin as a les paul but still pretty playable.

  • What's the neck like on that buddy thick or thin?

  • Don't you ever apologize for that beaner accent

  • i like this guy:)

  • Wish, how'd you get fret dots on it? Doesn't the dot studio not have fret dots on the fretboard?

  • Whys the Dot Standard better than the Dot Studio man? :D

  • Hey everyone so sorry I haven't replied to any of your comments, I've been busy moving back and forth from Cali to Arkansas. Repost your questions and ill answer them right away.

  • Oi! Punk's not dead! The Unseen Fuck the KKK! I'm getting this guitar soon enough.

  • What's with the KKK shirt?

  • @jimihendrixfan2008 its a band shirt. the unseen are a street punk band and it's probably a shirt for a song that is against racism and racist groups like the kkk and neo nazis

  • @AmericanXcore LOL oh ok. It's all good man. Nice Epi by the way, thinking of getting one myself.

  • Beaner accent lol im a country boy from a farm i work with a lot of beaners i dont mind it one bit dont be sorry bout it dude. and im thinkin bout buyin one but i play from country like country boy can survive to rock like down with the sickness do you think this guitar can hadnle the stress and playing styles of that or is it more for old scholle rock? i really want to know befor i go and spend 300 bucks on it ya know

  • hey, Dont be sorry. I FRIKEN LOVE YOUR ACCENT

    !!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great review. I have this guitar also, sounds good playing anything from frank sinatra, johnny cash, streetlight manifesto, horse the band, angels and airwaves, ALL types of music.

  • This is one of the guitars I'm investing in. Either that, or a Les Paul 100, Revenge Series Warlock, Dean V, or a Dave Mustaine. I currently have an Ibanez and a Starcaster. But it's the Starcaster I'm trying to replace.

  • Did you fall in love with the Quick Check girl?

  • With the Dirty Finger pickups, the dirty sounds are pretty good. Sounds nice and crunchy, but I would still have to recommend the Epiphone Dot (Standard) over this studio version.

  • with the epi dot can it play bluse good and hard rock? such as aerosmith kiss gnr and 4 bluse like bb king johnny A

  • when u played ska it kinda sounded like real big fish

  • Yeah, I was playing part of they're cover of "Unity" by Operation Ivy.

  • ska is the way to go.

  • @jka1989 whats the pop punk song?

  • is this guitar gigable?

and btw, are dirty fingers ur humbuckers?

so yes, are they in it when you buy them?

    thanks!

  • Yeah those are Dirty Fingers in there. I bought em seperate. I would recommend the Dot over the Dot Studio, The Dot Standard is much better.

  • hey so i am the one who you helped with the dirty fingers on the same guitar but your advice still isn't helping. any other advice?

  • What kind of strings and amp are you using? I have Ernie ball Skinny Top/Heavy Bottom and I still dont get to much low end. If your adjusting the pole pieces, try messing around with the the ones nearest to the bridge. I turned every pole piece about 2 to 4 times counter clockwise, but then againd It could be your amp or something else in your signal chain like a pedal. If your using heavier strings, your gonna get a punchier bottom end. But your best bet is to balance out the coils.

  • I have Ernie ball custom guage nickel wound guitar strings. my amp is a line 6 spider 3 15 watt. when you turned them 2-4 times, was it all six closest to the bridge or just the EAD string or just the GBe strings?

  • 2 times on the first coil, about 3 or 4 on the one closest to the bridge. Mostl on the G D and A string for more midrange

  • oh sorry they are just ernie ball regular slinky

  • I thought it had no dots on frets?

And what you did each time you change the effects? I see you do smt with the computer

  • It comes with no dots. I bought them seperately. There kinda like stickers and they glow in the dark. I was using guitar rig 3 on my computer. I was changing my sound to show how the guitar sounds. The dots help me play.

  • arn't there dots on the neck it's self?.

  • Change the pickups and the bridge and this baby will sound LOADS better! What kind of amp are you using?

  • nah thats all cheers buddy! xx

  • Did you get your guitar yet?

  • yeah its fuckin brilliant mate, the frets are just like on a normal guitar and the sounds great on it! xx

  • aw cool, im getting a dot studio and i was wonderin about know the fret bourd is it like thick, like compaired to a strat is the fretboard thicker or the same size as it? its a stooopid question but iv got wee hands and i dont wana be wrapin my hand around it to do a barr chord haha. xx

  • Well....i used to play a Strat also. I have no problem with this fretboard. I wondered about the same thing also cause I play alot of Ska and I gotta be fast with the barr chords and my hands are small also. This guitar is probably a little bit more comfortable than my old Strat. Even with a high Action its still easy to do barr chords. Anything else you wanna know?

  • how do you have dots on yours ?

  • Look for them on the Musicians Friend website. Thats where i got mine. They're Fretlord Glow In the Dark Fret Markers. They come in handy. Just peel em off and stick em on to your guitar!
