nice radio and truck, i have a cobra 29 wx nw bt in my '94 chevy. however i saw your SWR meter when you hit the mike button, you need to tune your antenna or it will damage your radio, i saw one before that got ruined b/c of a un- tuned antenna, with that antenna you probably just clip off about 1/8 of an inch off and check the SWR again and the needle should read lower, keep doing that until it reads about 1.5 - 2, anything 2.5 and up will eventually ruin your radio in as little as a week or 2

Thats a Damn good radio you got. I got the sister to that Radio , The Connex 3300 HP. Its in my truck too. and we use ours for dog huntin down here in Florida. Dont ever get anything But a Whip Antenna. Theyre Awesome for talking in the woods. especially while runnin about 70 or 80 chasin some dogs(: lol.
thats not a cb, it's a 10meter radio.
