It just seems google is starting to get very un-user friendly. Lots of stories of people getting their accounts cut off without explanation. I was living in Korea and used a Korean address, but when I wanted to change my address, they would not let me change the country. That's really bad in my opinion. People move internationally. Are people not supposed to move to a different country? I don't understand what they're thinking. I also think pay per sale makes more sense.
Adsense stinks tens of thousands of Adsense accounts were burned in 2009 - 2010 for no apparent reason. They are haters of Affiliate marketers. You know what you're doing, keep making that money.

You get a check in the mail. But I think you can also do it through Paypal so it's automatically added. They won't pay you until you submit tax information first.
my feeling is that adsense works well if you can get pages in the top 3 of google and have your site structured to encourage clicks. There's definitely a science to it.

@dizzedrink If you really didn't click your own ads then try to appeal. Google AdSense doesn't suck, they just have to protect their customers (the advertisers who are paying for those ads) There is so much fraud from cheaters and when people click their own ads or tell their friends to click, they are essentially stealing so Google cannot risk losing their customers (advertisers). AdSense is a privilege for us publishers and if they suspect fraud they have to protect the advertisers.

Within a week of your application date, we'll review your application and follow-up with you via email. There are a lot of websites but only a small percentage of them are of any quality and ever get seen. As long as there are Advertisers that are willing to pay Google for ad space then I don't see it going anywhere anytime soon. As long as people want to advertise, there will be room for programs like AdWords and AdSense. Remember, Google has the right to decline any site it does not want into the program and they do if the quality is low.

Nothing you can do about how much you earn per click. Every niche pays differently and there's also speculation that how much you earn per click varies depending on how popular/trafficked your site is. Now if you want to improve your click thru ratio obviously you can experiment with colors and placement but you have no control over how much you earn per click. It's up to the big G. ;)

get a good web-developing software. I recommend adobe dreamweaver cs4. It's expensive unless u can find a way to get it for free *cough* *cough*. Find a good webhosting site as well. Take a look at Lisa's videos on what she uses. I haven't committed to one yet, but her reference looks pretty good. Also, pick a good topic for your site. You want to appeal to many audiences to get the most visitors/clicks.

Yes. In order to become a partner you have to have an AdSense account. So all the earnings from the YouTube Partner program get lumped in with my AdSense earnings from my websites.

Read up on SEO and followed the advice of just building a lot of themed content. Over time my rankings just improved. I also have a lot of other people who link to my sites voluntarily so that helps my rankings because Google is always checking your "backlinks".

I think it's a GREAT way to earn extra money IF you learn how to do beta testing and make a profit with your campaigns. The most challenging part is learning how to find the "sweet spots" to earn a profit and it takes a lot of testing. Most people that make a profit with AdWords will tell you they had to take a loss first. I know a guy earning 6 figures/yr with AdWords.
I am one of those that feel AdSense is losing big time. Could be because I am a YouTube only user, for which CTR and payout is very low. At least for my usual topic. Sadly YouTube has no other options.
Through YouTube I have an average of 5k views a day, though that will spike easily to 15k for a few weeks near a holiday. 5k views on YouTube equates to about 4000 impressions via AdSense. Yet I have not earned $100 in a single month, even last month with an easy 8,000 impressions every day.
My YouTube revenue is terrible. I earn most of my AdSense money from my websites. I think the YouTube ad inventory is very low right now. I get that sense because the ads that show up next to my videos are not even related to my videos, which is why my CTR is super low.

Great, Congrats! It's not bad but just be open to making some adjustments to your approach when you go thru the brainstorming phase. Sometimes when people start writing in advance they tend to skip/ignore the preliminary advice. Part of buying SBI! is getting that preliminary advice so if you go too far ahead you sort of defeat the purpose of buying it.

I should add something else. You can now choose from 3 different font sizes and 3 different font styles. Just testing a little bit with those I raised my CTR up by about 25%.

get a good web-developing software. I recommend adobe dreamweaver cs4. It's expensive unless u can find a way to get it for free *cough* *cough*. Find a good webhosting site as well. Take a look at Lisa's videos on what she uses. I haven't committed to one yet, but her reference looks pretty good. Also, pick a good topic for your site. You want to appeal to many audiences to get the most visitors/clicks.

ads is shit i worked for 7 months makeing a gamemode makeing it into a server getiing players to play on it puting up the website and then i add some ads to the website i made 5 to 10 Euros a day then after a month i got up to 120 euros i had done all the stuff they asked got the pin code telephone code thing and i was going to ask then to send the money at the end of the money 1 day later being able to get the money i get disabled

Yes. In order to become a partner you have to have an AdSense account. So all the earnings from the YouTube Partner program get lumped in with my AdSense earnings from my websites.
That check comes from 2 sites. 2 Create a Website and Flat-Stomach-Exercises

You can block certain ads, but you have no control over what ads shows. It depends on what Google has in their database.

It's illegal to use other people's videos unless you have permission. But why not be original? A large part of my success has come from creating my own, unique personal brand with content and authentic videos. Other successful website and blog owners will tell you the same thing.

Read up on SEO and followed the advice of just building a lot of themed content. Over time my rankings just improved. I also have a lot of other people who link to my sites voluntarily so that helps my rankings because Google is always checking your "backlinks".

I think it's a GREAT way to earn extra money IF you learn how to do beta testing and make a profit with your campaigns. The most challenging part is learning how to find the "sweet spots" to earn a profit and it takes a lot of testing. Most people that make a profit with AdWords will tell you they had to take a loss first. I know a guy earning 6 figures/yr with AdWords.

I am one of those that feel AdSense is losing big time. Could be because I am a YouTube only user, for which CTR and payout is very low. At least for my usual topic. Sadly YouTube has no other options.
Through YouTube I have an average of 5k views a day, though that will spike easily to 15k for a few weeks near a holiday. 5k views on YouTube equates to about 4000 impressions via AdSense. Yet I have not earned $100 in a single month, even last month with an easy 8,000 impressions every day.

My YouTube revenue is terrible. I earn most of my AdSense money from my websites. I think the YouTube ad inventory is very low right now. I get that sense because the ads that show up next to my videos are not even related to my videos, which is why my CTR is super low.

Great, Congrats! It's not bad but just be open to making some adjustments to your approach when you go thru the brainstorming phase. Sometimes when people start writing in advance they tend to skip/ignore the preliminary advice. Part of buying SBI! is getting that preliminary advice so if you go too far ahead you sort of defeat the purpose of buying it.
