I like Cadie but this U.S skins was sooo disappointing. I hate how MTV was afraid to make Cadie anorexic. So they just made her weird. And the suicide scene in the UK version was a lot better. In the Cadie's scene you couldn't even tell what she was doing. The next episode I was like wait she tried to kill herself with 2 pills. Isn't that a normal amount kids take. The whole season was just watered down.
@yousmelllikeaboot Maybe, but Cassie took a whole bag of pills and and drank a bottle of liquor it was obvious what she was doing. I almost cried when she tried to kill herself. If you haven't seen it yet check it out. It's on youtube. After you watch it you'll see why everyone says it's better than the American version.
@BrooklyntoBrixton Actually, I preferred that I think the US version was at it's best when it didn't copy straight from the UK version. And I hate to bring race into this but it was kinda of refreshing to see someone of ethnicity who was off beat and "weird". In some ways Cadie was more interesting than Cassie.
@neosoontoretro I can agree with the off beat black girl point, But After you watch Effy and Cook fuck so hard in the closet that they break through a hidden door. It's hard to watch Tea and Tony's pathetic censored sex scene.
@BrooklyntoBrixton Well,technically Cadie is biracial. But I do agree that UK version is much better than the U.S.version. I was actually okay with the fact it was censored, but it probably would have better if it was on HBO or Showtime.But Skins U.S. was still good show with great potential.
@lalamouse77 No, she's not. She's got several disorders but Anorexia is not one of them. I do know that she is bipolar, not sure if she has a phobia of birds and not sure is she has obsessive-compulsive disorder.
