I loved Dollhouse way more than Firefly. Firefly was OK but I didn't understand the SQUEEE about it, I had that for Dollhouse.

About the thing where the character when out to have a good time. From what my friend has been telling me you can contract a "doll" to do anything. Not just spy stuff or assassination but anything. So some guy might have contracted one of them to just be his girlfriend for the night.

...sounds evil to me. That's why I'm hesitant to watch it.

I have been watching Dollhouse and for a while the only reason that I continued to watch it was because of my trust in Joss Wheaton. I though that the 1st esp was alright, but it had a LONG way to go.

I love River Tam. I think that Dollhouse was a fantastic angle to play for a series.

I agree with the opening of the show. It really made no sense, but when she talks with the leader Caraline says "you try cleaning an actual slate, you always see what was there before" which I think is going to have alot of meaning and it shows in the second episode cuz in the end when she has no personality you see her pat her shoulder like the guy did. So I think later her doll self will develop a personalty from the various imprints

she goes back to the DOLLHOUSE and gets imprinted back to Echo....she goes to bed in the Dollhouse and thinks everythings fine...but a misterious guy is researching her step by step...paper by paper to get Echo and the Dollhouse eliminated...forver!!!! The credits roll, and then u see the "GRR ARGH" thing and then next show starts....~~~~~~~

and it starts off where she was bought for sex and then she leaves and is imprinted to be a negotiator for a local money maker (who is VERY rich) who's daughter has been kidnapped...and she was imprinted as a girl who was kidnapped by a guy that helped kidnapp the daughter! she remmebers him adn starts to say "YOU CANT KILL A GHOST" cuz the guy said that cuz u couldnt see his real face with the mask on.....Echo saves the girl and returns her 2 her dad....

Dollhouse sound kinda bit like the short lived TV show "My own worst enemy" with the switching personality plot.

Echo was on a mission at the start of the episode. The guy hired her from the Dollhouse to have a girlfriend for the weekend. It wasn't for Echo, it was for him. She was given the personality of a party girl. At the end of the mission she has to leave and gets her memory wiped, which is why he knew she was going to forget and why she was leaving, "she has to get back to her carriage before it turns back into a pumpkin."

Which is why it's so morally grey- she was bought for sex.

ever since joss whedon's run on astonishing x-men (1-25), I've been intrested in his work. i have to see dr horrible episodes first then dollhouse. good review.

You know I wasn't a fan of Joss's X-men stuff. It felt to much like his Buffy and Angel stuff.
