  • Good audio. Every Epicenter since hasn't topped this.

  • the band stayed at the hotel where i work for this show and i got to go backstage to watch their performance. this was the most amazing show of my life. sadly, they wouldnt let me record anything, so thanks for posting this.

  • badass show, too bad lickin park was there...

  • i don't really like Tool but this is fucking epic :)

  • that was a fucken insane show i got to see it front row i was getting crushed on the railing right in front of justin almost caught his pick sadly i couldnt see it when he threw it but i caught shawn kinneys drum stick amazing

  • cisma

  • schism is good.. but Lateralus is the shit.

  • I was there, front row.

    MONEY WELL SPENT!!!!!!

  • i really love tool! but i was so fucking tired and left right after jambi! there shit gits a lil boring and repeatitive live. was fucking awesome seeing them front row though!

  • no way! ive seen TooL so many freaking times and they always come through in different ways. the set list might have been the same but Epicenter was def a brilliant performance full of energy. so you didnt even stay for Lateralus or 46 & 2?

  • @RAGEfan81 na but your right i just wasnt high enough probably haha

  • ha same here mbjc. i wish i was there again

  • i was there too in the front on the right next to the rail, a fire broke out and so did a fight

  • Suuuuch good memories...

  • im glad you get the chills, i get them too! where you at this show?

  • i traveled 3000 miles from florida to see tool at this show. not for the show for tool. i was blessed with mushrooms casserole lucy. and molly simultaneously. i slept on the park bench out front of pamona fairplex.(if i met you there whats up. if i met you inside whats up.) as i had no hotel no renta car and no money left. i took a bus to LAX. if you think im nuts. you dont know tool. best shit ever. thank whoever dropped me the lucy it really made my "trip"

  • lol best dam comment anyone has left on any of my videos!!!! thats dedication my friend. i would have for sure givin you a ride to the airport! kudos to you my friend! see i live in Corona, Ca and i did the something similar to see TooL in Salt Lake City Utah! but it was whatever TooL wasnt even feeling it, the crowed sucked and the arena lights were dimmed not turned off the whole show so i couldnt even smoke the whole freaking time and i had 6 joints rolled!...bottom line Utah sucks!

  • I was there and at the end of the concert I got Danny Carey's Drum head, its cracked though. Still, it's the most badass and valuable thing I've ever owned.

  • dude, this is a freakin awesome vid of the show. i flew in from alaska to see it and was HOPING somene had some footage of tool. the set was a little short, but as awesome as i could have hoped for.and maynard was on damn crutches! thanks for being there toolrudy, i appreciate it

  • your very welcome my friend! glad you enjoyed the show!

  • i took a hit to this song fuck yeah

  • If you dropped syd before this show than you saw TOOL as they were meant to be seen. I saw them in Orlando after eating a mushroom bean casserole (if you know what i mean) and they played Push It! Fucking A, can you believe my luck? I've seen them ten times but never with syd only E, although that can produce similar visual effects. Maynard has even said that their shows are meant to be seen through psychedelics, just not overtly. I'll never go to another TOOL show without syd. Spiral Out!

  • I too saw this show with our friend Lucy. And I have to 100% agree with you. This show was beautiful

  • who didnt?

  • they headlined for a reason....i was 15ft from the stage and it was worth the 3days of temporary hearing loss GODS

  • I was there, and it was fuckin amazing, true masters at what they do, cant wait to see em' again

  • awesome show, last time i saw tool was 06 at staples. they blow me away every time

  • maynard rocking the crutches.. fuckin hardcore.

  • the best concert iv ever been to i drove 20 hours to see them well worth it

  • tool is always amazing! this time i drove 8 hours to see them. does anyone have a picture of the background from the show? i have been looking for it ever since.

    thanks

    also aenima was fucking awesome

  • That was an amazing performance and festival. My first time seeing tool too! I didnt mind linkin park until the whole "here is my side project" then linkin came back on. I guess stand for five hours to be 40ft from stage for tool also did it. But some guys did get a little too pissed off.

  • Dude...they were fuckin' amazing. They stole the show!

  • the show was always theirs...

  • first time seeing TOOL and they were mind blowing i was amazed on how flawless they were ... it was like listening to a cd

  • but better

  • Yeah they were sick!! Going to be a big Tool fan from now on!!

  • lol

yep the crowd was crazy during TOOL

    THEY JUST STAND:D

  • Tool was the best!.in the pit the whole time & the crowd went crazy.i got the chills when they went on.kinda bummed they didnt sing Sober :/

  • Personally I dont listen to Tool...BUT their music must make people assholes??? A taste of te disrespect their fans had for Linkin Park? Fucken Assholes.....I didnt even stay to see Tool but at least that was better than throwing shit at them or boo-ing....fucken losers

  • TOOL is not responsible for all the assholes out there, trust me when when they play arena shows its a totally different crowd and experience. plus i have learned over time you cant predict, control or judge a festival crowd, theres just too many drugs and beer going around! lol

  • well they were throwing shit at the linkin park guys band cause they were cutting into tools time cause tool started setting up or started at 9 44 they were suppose to play 9 25 and we all wanted to see tool not some faggedy band

  • ya your right, no disrespect to Linkin Park and there fans but TooL headlined and should have gone on earlier and got to play a longer set!

  • lol did anyone else see when linkin park's lead singer (i dont even know his dumbass name) had his other band come out and the drummer threw the drumstick into the crowd, but they fuckin threw it back and hit the guy hahaha. that was awesome..

  • haha yeah and he got hit so he had to throw it back

  • lmoa! is this true? i didnt watch that part i was getting high and checking out some bitches lol thats so funny but messed up too

  • hahaha that was the greatest thing ever

  • i still cant believe that douche bag brought out his side band during linkin parks set ... never seen that before either way i didnt want to sit through that shit

  • it was soooooo terrible. OMG

  • pansy. tool kicks linkin parks ass.

  • you wasted every fucking PENNY spent if you left before tool. retard

  • Gosh, I'm getting chills just seeing this again. I had chills their whole performance. And Maynards sacrifice... What a guy!

  • as a guitarist that was a sick intro to skizm

  • fuck fuck u voeps14 u cheap bastard that was my first tool concert i would have paid more than that. i had the time off my life . fuck u very much.

  • OK FRIST STREET SWEEPER SOCIAL CLUB FUCKEN ROCKED!! that was a surprise ... n I thought Alice in Chains, ATREYU, and Wolfmother were fucken cool but Hollywood Undead suck ass n balls!!!!!! ........ TOOL well tool is tool what more can i say

  • Linkin Park went opened for metallica in England Sonisphere Festival, European Tour

and metallica fans didn't throw stuffs at Linkin Park they had respect for them unlike Tool fans at EpicCenter.

  • i like linkin park but i bood the crap out of them especially chesters new band

  • HAHAHAHA this concert was the shit i was at the pit im 13 but not in, that was funny when the set the shirts on fire but TOOLis the best band L!ve!

  • haha i was protecting this chick i met there from the mosh since we were right in the pit..like prolly 30 ft from the stage....most amazing experiance of my life. listening and watching to TooL...AND fighitng humanity to live haha was amazing!!

  • Okay anyone saying this is exciting it cause ur in the back! Work your way to the pit with me and its amazing! Im not saying be in the pit just being next to tht type of energy and feeling the music they play. iTs just like NO ONE ELSE EVER! I was in the pit with the fire in it<3 That Shit was going off!

Btw : I lost a black Choco-low Van Shoe hit me up if u got it ;] [[Right foot]] lmao

  • that was one cool concert!!

    Loved it!

  • amazing...

    thanks for recording this :D

  • great performance

  • you obviously dont know tool

theyre not ur 80s hair band to jump around and scream all the time.

its tool. not another band, its a whole different world with them.

go to more shows, listen to more music ull understand

  • lol your boring. i bet you think Linkin Park rocked out harder...all i know is i was actually LISTENING to the MUSIC not starring at adams jones movements, if you base a band on movements go watch Slipknot or something, no offense to slipknot

  • i believe you mean to say accepted these unexciting preformances... anyways.. adam jones was watching you.. he cant watch you if hes jumping around.. look at his eyes.. hes a scary mother fucker..

  • you cant really compare a tool concert and a linkin park concert imo. Ive seen LP 4 times and i first saw tool a few weeks ago. While they both have different sounds and it may or may not appeal to you. Tool for their shows focuses more on the sound and visual effects. Where as Linkin park and many other bands focus on the sound, and crowd interaction.

I find tool has their own type of concert different from other bands. Yet I still think both bands are equally amazing live.

  • adam jones never rocks out.. if you went expecting that then im sure youve never seen em live.. justin moves enough for the whole band.. danny is a demon.. maynard is a great artist.. as is adam jones.. they produce wonderful works of art and if you cant appreciate it to that extent and you desire something more then i dont know what to tell you my friend.. it was a journey i could have closed my eyes to..

  • I flew from Pittsburgh to see this show! What was it that he said, "I couldn't leave you hanging so you can run into one another?" Then he's like you can thank me for my sacrifice or something, lol.

    Maynard was great.

Hey man.. I give alot of credit to Linkin Park. They really surprised me, and gave a 10 out of 10 performance in my book as well.

  • Glad you uploaded this. Despite Maynard's hurt leg and slightly poor performance, I give him props for showing up. I wish Danny Carey would have done a drum solo.

  • nice footage!

  • i was kinda dissapointed with tools set. maybe it was because i had to wait 8 hours thru a bunch of bands i dont really like to see tool.

  • Yesterday was the greatest day of my life. Even though Tool played a short set it was pretty amazing. I'd definitely go see them again.

  • dude Danny through his drum head right by me :( fuck i wasnt paying attenition

  • TOOL rocked they were soo great somebody started a bonfire in the crowd haha epic the concer shoulda been called TOOL and friends cuz they rocked the fuck out

  • I was there 1st time seeing Tool it was epic. Maynard was on crutches the whole time and he still rocked it! Also it was awesome cuz i was all rested up after taking a nap during Linkin Park's set :D

  • Hell Ya! Would've loved to have been at this lastnight. Tool is the Pink Floyd of this generation... Skeet..Rock on!

  • this was so cool.

they didnt give us an encore though... :(

also @ chickentacoQ: the only fags i saw were the little kids in linkin parks shirts having orgasms over "Crawling".

  • I left before these fags came up linkin park was the only reason to go

  • By "fags" im sure you mean icons! lol Great show! and Maynard was awsome rockin' out with those crutches!

  • i pity your logic

  • you just cant handle tool its ok tho im glad you lisnted to your emo shit then left

  • I was there, 4th time seeing Tool

no one was even close to how great TOOL performed that night

    Tool is The Best

  • Great solid show, Rock n Roll!!!!

  • UR the fucking man Toolrudy!! Thanks brother...spiral out, keep going.

  • thanks man...it sucks cuz i record TOOL shows to keep the memory alive but i also sacrafice the full effect of the performance...but in the end, the videos are worth it

  • I went for wolfmother but tool rocked it

    fun concert all around

  • sweet stuff man. Looks like you were in the same vicinity as me. I was middle, probably 10-15ft back from the barricade. In my head, i was like... well toolrudy is probably recording this show, and ill see it tomorrow morning. there we go. You have any more footage?

  • lol wow im glad that you thought of me during the show, i was with a group of like 10 people but who knows maybe i waas smoking herb right in front of you! and yes i have more videos :)

  • i was by a chick in a wheel chair being pushed by a guy with missing teeth. Ha! that is a bit wierd that i would be thinking of you during a show. I always have to keep the bootleggers in mind. You got the 12/10 back in 07 for me. Im suprised huntingtonst hasnt picked up any of these shows.

  • haha huntingtonst has tried very very hard to trade his personal videos for my videos of the Nokia Theater show but i cant do it, i was the only person PERIOD that got my camera in that show so i have to be the only person with the originals :)

  • Actually there were tons of people with cameras... whether it was their phone or actual cameras.

  • i have some audience recordings and some of the bootleg dvds of tool that have been in circulation over the years.. if the tapers and those who filmed them never shared the goods id have nothing.. you gonna take em to the grave or what rudy?

  • no i dont think i will take them to the grave. i have hundreds of emails of true tool believers that want a dvd of some shows ive been too like nokia theater and one day i will make a bunch of copies and then send them out to those that truely want one! so no i wont take them to the grave :)

  • Ha i literally right next to those guys.

  • I came all the way from San Diego, and it was my first Tool concert --- religious experience. I'm upset that Tool played a short set, and likewise, cut their songs in half; in retrospect, Maynard sustained an injury from growing his excellent wine in Arizona - he was still rocking out though with his crutches.

  • amazing. i was there !!!!!!:D

  • Awesome

  • I couldn't afford to go to the show, I was so bummed, I'm a TOOL fan from way back. But I live right across the street from the fair so i sat at my front door and listened to all these songs. It was pretty cool except for the fact that it just made me want to be there even more.

  • He had an small injury in arizona. Fuckin awesome that he still performed.

I nearly cried when they played this.. was so damn beautiful.

  • wat kinda camera dude

  • why is Maynard with crutches?!o.O

  • maynard said its cuz " GOD KICKED HIM IN THE BALLS " lol

  • " i was picking grapes in Arizona earlier this week....god kicked me in the balls"
