It is licking because when a newborn is born, there is this layer of "membrane" over the baby. The parents need to lick off the "membrane" to let the baby breathe. I'm not too sure if the word "membrane" is a correct one but hope you get the idea:)

Funny how he was kicked out of zions gardens? Because he declaws his cats, keeps them in shoddy cages and treats them like crap once the cameras are turned off.

People are right when they say white tigers are a genetic mutation. Go do some research on it. Visit BigCatRescue*org.

They tell the truth and what these animals go through in order to get the "perfect" colouration. They should no be breeding these cats, because they do nothing for the conservation effort in tigers.

White tigers are not a sub species, the are a rare genetic mutation caused by inbreeding!

white tigers were formed my the mutation of a gene or genes not becouse of inbreeding of course all animals inbreed at some point! and yes there are some veery sad people out there who try to inbreed animals but white tigers were from the mutation of genes thou out the years and from hetrosigos tigers.

protest when you see white tigers, they are the result of a mutant gene that is being used to create more tigers that are not well and suffer many genetic anomalies- defects. You never see the sick ones in public. They are inbred from one bloodline. These animals are exploited from iresponsible people for cash.....sad. Tigers are majestic rare animals and they need to be protected. Education is key...if you see one in a show, ask questions and state your opinions...don't pay to see this...

Actually, most white tigers in zoos today are Siberian/Bengal hybrids to some degree. The original white tiger was Bengal, though.
