I found out how to fix the ds rom loading problem on no$gba, it kept telling me that the game card couldnt be read, one time i tried something with pokemon platinum. i went to the settings and messed around with the memory storage a little and it worked! hope this helps.

For whoever's using no$gba, to fix the initial loading problem go to Options>Emulation Setup and change the NDS Cartridge Backup Media to FRAM 32KBytes.
