In fact, the "miraculous", "innovative" and "unique" methods Millan uses to "rehabilitate" dogs are old hat to crossover trainers such as myself.
As a professional dog trainer, I am often asked what my opinion is of the program "The Dog Whisperer" and if I "like" Cesar Millan. Well, I do not know Mr. Millan so I have no opinion of him, personally. However, I most assuredly do NOT like his show or the training techniques he uses and promotes.
wow, I didn't know that! I always assumed starting to cool the dog down from top to bottom was the way to go (although I understood the benefit of a wet towel to the dog's belly, for fast cooling down), and now I know better thanks to this great tip;) I learn so much from Cesar - I really love, respect and admire that guy!
great tips! their is a plastic kiddy pool in my back yard for my dogs to play in, and a huge water bowl for them that is full of water for them to drink. inside the house put a damp towel in the bathtub and put them on it to cool them. there is also a water bowl for them in the kitchen.
is he as well behaved as daddy .... by the way daddy is getting on in age ... cesar just posted something on his myspace about dealing with daddy`s inevitable decline
