  • 1:17 i love how they added someone playing the Banjo

  • @RoyboyX crack fits better

  • What needs to happen is the old Rare geniuses need to make their own company, go back to Nintendo and buy back Banjo, Conker, KI and all their other greats

Banjo back in his full glory on the Wii U would be unbelievable, sadly Microsoft and the Rare grunts who were left over with the shell of the company have already killed Banjo, Kazooie, Grunty, Conker and any hope for KI 3 for me

  • This is so epic!

  • Another hit, I'm getting weak, I really need to take a leak!

  • Spells rain down upon your head,

You stand NO CHANCE when I see red!!

    Another hit?! I can't believe

you didn't dodge! Why don't you weave?!

I see Bottles taught you well,

But bears can't fly, and I can tell!!

  • I miss this game so much

  • these guys should have been in super smash bros brawl instead of Earthbound characters and star fox characters

  • 9 people got owned by Grunty

  • 0:49-0:56 Rusty Bucket Bay

    0:57-1:01 Inside Clanker

  • with this song I want to slap a bitch!!

  • i wouldnt care that microsoft bought rare unless the next banjo kazooie game is a GOOD platformer and they say that nuts and bolts wasnt canon

  • I love this song, I love it a lot.

    Whoever doesn't should surely rot.

  • am i the only one who think that Banjo & Kazooie musics sound alot like Donkey Kong 64 musics o-o ?

  • @frankdgame I want you to think long and hard as to why they sound similar.

    Idiot.

  • @FatalizeDFO .... yea they are both made by the same company i know that.... dumbass

  • @frankdgame Then what is the point of your original comment?

  • Bear & a bird together in an adventure to save his sister from evil witch collecting puzzles and notes siiigh' such a CLASSIC I'm surprised this game didn't take Mario off the market...

  • A game that became such a great hit, until Microsoft bought Rare and turned it into shit.

  • my broom stick just poked a hole in mr. patch! watch him puff and blow

then u'll see just how hooked a mole canbe to his hole! smokin' and boalin'!!! XD fail at grunty-grammer!

  • My second fave boss theme, behind the Big Boss Theme in SMRPG

  • You'll witness her Great and Powerful rank,

when Trixie's magic kicks your flank!

  • 1:17 through 1:28 = lol

  • @BabyConan41 Banjo solo xD

  • 0:00 - 3:17 Best part

  • i never beat the game lol

  • @derhalofanatic I did, and it's a pain in the bird's ass. Seriously. he crapped out so many eggs.

  • I wish this song would get covered by some genius remix artist, either metal, OC, or whatever. It's just too epic to be so overlooked.

  • @Joobsmon Try searching. One exists now :)

  • This song has everything.

  • Gahhh I always loved this game. But only the epic parts. If I go and play the game again i would just get bored out of my mind trying to find notes. Games like these seem so much better when you are listening to the final boss battle music. LOL

  • I Made Da 700th Like On Dis Video.

  • I'm listening to this and thinking how awesome it would be if someone put together a vocal version.

  • Wait, are They fighting at Mad Monster Mansion?!

  • @XxSUPASPAZxX They're fighting at the very top of Grunty's Lair.

  • I miss the N64 days when platformers were king.. What happened????

  • @lasoogneypubes Games like Halo showed up and people became more and more interested in First Person Shooters leaving platformers behind. Sad really.

  • @Aeoncalcos91 You're right. I didn't even think about that. First person shooters are great but platformers are even better imo. I think the whole online multiplayer ability kind of ruined platformers a little too.

  • Do you see something out in the blue? It is me, and I'm coming for you! >:-D

  • Does anyone else agree with me that this is the greatest game of all time? as i seem to be on my own when talking to mates

  • @bacca491 I dont agree with you cause there is 1 game i love more and thats banjo tooie;)

  • @TheEdforce1 REALLY!? i like the game but i think it is only an 8/10 game tbh. I found the worlds to big with fuck all to do in them , incredibly awful music and very easy (excluding Weldar) easy boss fights

  • @bacca491 I'm sorry but i cant really find me in your critic. I liked the music. I agree some of the bosses were easy, but i still enjoyed them. I liked the bigger worlds but can also see why you hated it. I prefered banjo tooie because of the bigger worlds, bossfights and multiplayer, but i guess thats just a matter of personal taste;)

  • @TheEdforce1 i have no problem with you liking banjo tooie more mate :P i just felt a bit let down is all but im not arguing that it isn't a great game, if everyone has the same opinion then the world would be boring! :P

  • You know what I find unique about this music? Most epic final bosses almost always have organ or a choir but this one is still really epic yet it has almost every instrument except organ or a choir.

  • They just don't make video game music like they used to. Occasionally a game will come along with a great soundtrack like Super Mario Galaxy, Uncharted 2, or Halo, but it just isn't the same. Yes it is nice that some video games are going for a Hollywood-style soundtrack, but it needs to be more memorable.

  • @Gelatop Mass Effect, Wind Waker, Ratchet & Clank, Beyond Good and Evil, BLACK, Modern Warfare 2, and every game Square has ever made.

  • @Gelatop As I understand it, the key to really memorable music, and what made the older soundtracks so great, is a solid melody. Back in the 8-bit era, three tones and a percussive sound were as much as the system could handle, so composers had to have stripped down, melody heavy stuff because you just couldn't do complex chords and multiple lines. Any game that wants to go for a Hollywood style soundtrack should take notes on John Williams. He can really work a melody.

  • Did you hear that lovely clack? My broomstick gave you such a whack!

  • Popular Gmod Song.

  • Best music score in video-game history.

  • If I ever become a ufc fighter I this will be my song as i walk to the cage.

  • Banjo kazzoie rocks

  • Greatest final boss theme ever. Banjo-Kazooie will live on forever, in our hearts, and in our jigsaw pieces.

  • Another hit? I can't believe

you didn't doge! Why don't you weave?!

  • es la leche este tema..............

  • someone please hardstyle remix this!

  • I can't believe this furry pair, got right up here it's so unfair. But now the stupid bear must fight, this battle tests your skill and might!

  • I love this game and the N64, but come on. Quit bitching about how Rare went to Microsoft and how it would be SO much better if they stayed with Nintendo. Seriously. I love replaying these games in HD on my Xbox, and a handheld BK game would be terrible.

Although I'd like Banjo-Kazooie as a playable character in SSB 4...

  • When the 64 was in power, I played nothing but Banjo. Then Microsoft came out with Halo, and I made the leap, and i've been an XBoxer since then. It's not that I don't like (or don't own) a Wii, it's just that I have no room to play any active games on the Wii. But I dunno now. Might have to switch back over to it after finding out what Microsoft did to my Banjo :(

  • i can play this masterpiece on piano :3

  • Very cool boss. 2:40 is awesome

  • This is one of the better boss battles in video game history!

  • Man this brings me back :)

  • holy Jiggys! 666 likes!!! O.O

  • Those who have disliked this video are Grunty and her minons

  • Great Game = interesting Characters + amazing Music + and an epic story line

Thats what makes a great game like this!

I bought this game 13 years ago and i still have it! I will never get rid of it. NEVER!

  • Quite possibly one of the greatest and most satisfying final bosses I've encountered in a game. Well worth all the effort to reach her.

  • BEST MUSIC EVER!!!

  • Does anyone else want this as their ringtone?

  • Banjo and kazooie should meet DK

  • @crazyraichu02 what a novel idea!

i mean, both bk and dk64 play similarly (collect items, gain abilitiies, exploration)

heck, they have the same composer and the tracks themselves have the same type of instruments.

even fungi forest was origionally was supposed to be in bk but got moved to dk64.

  • @crazyraichu02 Apparently in Diddy Kong Racing, it says that Banjo is a long-time friend of both DK and Diddy.

  • Oh Jesus

The advertisement next to the video is a "Back to school" advertisement

It shows 2 women running very fast

Their running matches the beginning of the song's beat

    DEAR LORD

  • @TheGLaDOSvideoCore Please tell me it matches the fast banjo part. PLEASE.

  • Still have the picture in the video as a promo poster that came free with 'Edge' magazine in 1998 on my bedroom wall

Ain't ever getting rid of it :D

  • oh my god.guys.i just discoverd that this song is a fast forward version of gruntys lair music

  • Dude, that final battle was so HARD! I didn't think I was ever going to beat that WITCH!

  • Microsoft.... you have provided us with Microsoft Office and tons of other stuff we probably coulden't live without but WHY DID YOU HAVE MAKE RARE MAKE SPORTS GAMES FOR YOUR OWN BENEFIT

  • the final boss music is gruntys lair music remixed

  • @305bryan1209 With MRusty Bucket Bay mixed in.

  • I LOVE this music! And the game.

  • im soooooooo glad i asked my bro to get me this game, toatly worth it, same with banjo tooie.

  • It's the moment that we've all been waiting for! The battle of Dolores Umbridge vs. Bear and Bird!

  • It's rather funny considering all my friends at the time of Banjo Kazooie's release were on Final Fantasy VII and Ocarina of Time. I was the big Banjo Kazooie fan and stuck with platformers back in '99.

  • Banjo battle music? YES.

This settles it. My dad's best friend, the friend that finally got him to ask out my mom and make me exist, asked me to learn the banjo.

    Now I must learn!

  • When traversing through the lair, Grunty will sometimes say, "Once I'm nice and thin once more, burgers, fries, and chips galore!" Even if she had won and taken Tooty's thinness from her, it wouldn't have lasted long!

  • The part starting at 0:38 means fucking business.

  • @EmuMan1490 thats the melody rusty bucket bay lol

  • that a really good game with good song for this time

  • @DaveyxO Microsoft bought the rights to rare, the company that made banjo kazooie. Nintendo can never make another banjo kazooie game...

  • @zqmfbg1 NOOOOOOOOEESS WHY MICROSOFT WHYYYYYYYYY?!?! *bangs head on computer desk*

  • Needs 3ds remake NOAW!

  • This is the music that played when BK fans got p*ssed off at Microsoft getting Rare....

It just hurts like getting to the Jinjonator and being killed on your last life..... You know it just hurts badly.......

    Also, epic travel music.... :P

  • This is one of the best video game battle themes that has ever been composed! I LOVE IT!

  • Comment removed

  • @someguy724 yes but grunty should be there too

  • @SanctuaryCookie Grunty's final smash attack:

She takes the broom and starts to hover,

while permanently throwing spells which hinder others to recover

    Noticed the rhyme?

I hated herself and I especially hated her nose.

But I loved her sentences and the rhymes she used in those :P

  • this music is awesome!!

  • Being owned by Microsoft is a kick in the butt, take us back Nintendo or I'll bust a nut!

  • This is isn't just great boss music, it's a great boss - just about the best ever, actually I think. It had such an air of finality to it - all the worlds have been done, after all that and now it's come to this - a fight with the main antagonist herself on top of her lair. Freaking epicness of the century. And it was so well thought-out, just like the rest of the game, it's a shame it wasn't really completed.

  • MOST EPIC BOSS MUSIC EVER!!!!!

  • we gotta do somthing microsoft made the best game into shit with nuts and bolts plz if you read this lets try and make rare come back

  • if i had to guess moves in SSB3DS B: is granade eggs, >B Beak bomb (like a dashing move), ^b: shock pad (or something like pits's), vB : the drill move in BT

  • @someguy724 and if they used the old Character design

  • They made the banjo sound epic.

  • 1:16 Banjo hauling ass in fast motion.

  • gruntilda made 8 accounts and disliked this!

  • @chazybros OOOOOOOOOOOO SNAP!!

  • BANJO & KAZOOIE IN NEXT SMASH BROS WOULD KICK ASS

  • @someguy724 AGREED!!!!!!! XD

  • @someguy724 finial smash??

    JINJONATOR!!!!!!!!!

  • @someguy724 Shame it would never happen :c

  • @beardfosh

yo beardfosh... they do have Banjo Kazooie in Super Smash Bros. Brawl...(Banjo Kazooie is a texture hack over mario)

    img842.imageshack.us/img842/9514/banjokazooie2 . jpg

  • @n0o0oah Yeah, but that's a hack, there's no way nintendo would be able to do it legally as rare-ware is owned by microderp now

  • @beardfosh But if we could... get them back... :nudge nudge:

  • @someguy724 Well gamer's were able to get Sonic in Brawl, could be possible. I would actually love to see those two in action again. :P

  • @someguy724 you my friend are a genius

  • @someguy724 sadly... it wont happen

  • @someguy724 not gonna happen, microsoft owns banjo now.

  • @ericmarshall19 actually, microsoft only PARTIALLY owns rare.

notice how rare made gba games? microsoft has no handheld of its own.

as long as thats so, rare can make as much games for handhelds as they want.

pray microsoft keeps there filthy hands off the handheld market.

there may be hope yet for banjo-kazooie fans....

  • @supersmashbro596 With a new Smash Bros. coming for 3DS and Wii U, maybe Rare will include Banjo and Kazooie in it. However, they'll be 3DS exclusives and not in the Wii U version.

  • @supersmashbro596 In that case, maybe Banjo will be in the 3DS version of the next Smash Bros game. Let's hope.

  • @supersmashbro596 *imagines 3DS Banjo-kazooie*... :D

  • @supersmashbro596 Banjo-Kazooie for Smash Bros 4 would be a dream come true.

  • @FOXGotMeBanned and Mega Man!

  • @supersmashbro596

And Conker. Hopefully, they'll remake Banjo Kazooie, Tooie, and Conker's bad Fur day for the 3DS.

  • @ShadowScorpios Agree with all of that cept bad fur day. I hate the disgusting path they took Conker down.

  • @Tpdude046 Also, Battle-toads SNES version on VC.

  • @supersmashbro596 Lets hope

  • @supersmashbro596 The damage from Microsoft has already been done. Most of the Rare crew that was there in its glory days left when Microsoft bought Rare. Now Rare only has the lesser employees, I guess. Nuts & Bolts is a clear sign that they are only a shell of what they used to be.

  • @Roriok retrostudio= the new rare ok this never going to be like rare but they do an awesome job on donkey kong country returns and this was the FIRST time they was making a platformer

  • @supersmashbro596 What about Conker's bad fur day thats a great game to but microsoft ruined it with live and reloaded

  • @xXsinthiteXx Besides the censorship, nothing was wrong with Live and Reloaded. To be honest, that game has some of the best graphics ever when you take into account it's hardware. I know graphics aren't everything, but it makes an already amazing game, more amazing.

  • @ShadowPhazonv2 Guess your right

  • @someguy724 yes!!! move list down b ground pound, up b kazooie lift, side b egg throw, regular b banjo punch. Super smash bros 4 needs to happen soon. Brawl was sub par gameplay wise.

  • @someguy724 Move set:

Double jump - Same as the game.

    B - Shoot eggs.

Side B - Either Roll or Kazooie lauches forward with a peck.

Up B - Kazooie flies similar to Pit in Brawl.

Down B - Not too sure......

  • @Bunneh8 It could be the Breegull Bash for Down B

  • @Bunneh8 Egg grenades or Breegull Bash.

Smash Move would be Banjo in flight mode firing clockwork kazooie eggs at opponents.

  • @someguy724 yeah but I think that'll never happen

  • @someguy724 Go convince Nintendo to buy Rare back and hire the old lead designer back first. §_§

  • @someguy724 I really hope so. The next Super Smash has been confirmed as "Super Smash Bros Universe" (I think it was). Let us all pray for Banjo & Kazooie in the next Smash Bros!

  • @someguy724 i agree, although its possibbly not gonna happen. Remember when Rare was bought by Microsoft? SSB is made by Nintendo and Nintendo lost the rights to Rare and it's characters to microsoft so maybe maybe not... but still im not Disagreeing and it's still a possibilaty *mispelled*

  • BANJO SOLO!!! 1:17 - 1:26

  • Igiurigiul *my final boss*: you've made it this far im impressed, but can you survive my final test? this test will see who is worthy of that star, your quest for it will end this far!!!! >:D

  • Good ol' times when games were still epic...

  • This and all of Rare's other games on the N64 like Conker's Bad Fur Day and DK64 had distinctive graphics, sound and music that I still remember to this day. They have this sort of charm on me that videogames today fail to reproduce. Just goes to show how good these games were. Thanks so much for uploading and making me reminisce of the good times! ^_^

  • @Truthhurts9000 Personally, I have to agree with you I mean the game overs are not as punishing anymore and I am getting tired of not getting punished for failing to beat the game.

  • @Truthhurts9000 absolute brofist.

  • @Truthhurts9000 i totally agree man, like xbox and ps3 focus on making their game graphics really good and making it "realistic", but nintendo put SOUL into their games. I think the idea of music that goes along with games is kind of a dead idea now a days, but thank god we had games that had that type of soul. Like when i hear music from games like, the zelda series, the mario series, the dk series, banjo kazooie and conkers bad fur day, it really takes me back, ps3 has failed to do that

  • This music qualifies for a brawl remix

  • JINJONATOR!!!

  • Somehow, this is the first related video to my Wizpigs theme cover (Diddy Kong Racing), oh how happy it made me!

  • I started screaming at my TV the first time i freed the giant Jinjo for the win XD. something about this game was... just so fun and exhilarating. i wish games nowadays would have the same effect on me.

  • Smashwonders put this tune in his most recent episode of Last Tier War(a super smash bros. melee video series). The tune fit very nicely. I highly suggest watching his videos, they're really good.

  • Best freaking final boss tune evargh!

  • i dont know what it is.. but i think banjo kazooie might be my favourite game of all time. something about is just so loveable. the graphics, the gameplay, the levle designs, the music and so on.

  • 7 enemies and gruntilda dislike this song.

  • I just found out that this game is on the Xbox Live Arcade and after hearing this song i'm going to go buy it right now. see you guys later!

  • I like how this music had the banjo and flute fused in with it aswell.

  • Unlike CoD and other modern "games", Banjo Kazooie is one of the proud few that tells us it's a game with very clever lines spread throughout this brilliant masterpiece. It's never been so fun to be told the obvious :D

  • Its just not the same without Grunty's manical laughter

  • my favorite part is at 2:40 . it's so simple, yet it just fits

also because that's usually the part when you take to the skies for the areial battle :)

wait, did i spell that right?

  • Owch, mu butt, its now quite sore, il make you pay for sure!

    A line from the fight.
