Evolution theory is founded on massive amounts of specific bits of data.

Men construct general theories from specific data.

There are other claims of the Bible most Christians over look. what you mention involves the same principle that those things like astrology etc are doing. I call them the "Abstract Concepts of GOD" The fallen angels (read the book of enoch) being from heaven have seen a glimpse of what GOD does but have not the power. It's me again. I do not think the problem is religion. It's the people behind religion looking for ways to control. The average IQ in the world is 100. You have smart people figuring out how to control dumb people. Most people when told something is true, I guess would believe if their IQ was 100. If you got rid of religion tommorrow, you would still have the smart people controlling dumb people in Gov, relationships. We need to raise the global IQ to comabat this. Look at the core problem.

We have little or very little people left that came here via immigration at the turn of the 20th century. All those people believed and taught their children what they were told.

I have been saying to people for a while now that due to the maturing of the human species, the advent of new technology and more people becoming rational, if man doesn't kill itself with nuclear weapons, there will only be a small portion on people who will be religious in a hundred years or so.

I'm upset because I won't be here to see the world free from religion.

TheSpindles, if we work together at educating, then we may well be here to see the world freed of religion, or at least on its way. Not too long ago every scientist, even outside environmental studies, knew that there was global warming and a disaster coming if we did nothing. Now, thanks to Gore, the tide is shifted though the clerics in the US administration have still got things locked up. But at least we begin to move. The same is starting to happen with eliminating religion.  Educate!
