Carrot Top IS funny, OBVIOUSLY, because people do laugh when he performs.. but there are different types of funny, and his type just doesn't affect me as potently as, say, Zach Galifianakis or Tim and Eric.. And THEY'RE that way too, some people don't think they're funny- but they ARE to me.. So I don't think it's really very fair that Carrot Top gets criticized so much when he is actually legit and making people laugh.

carrot top is honest to god funny. i don't understand why people don't laugh...his stuff is great. "actual comedy" is stuff that is funny. so he uses props to help illustrate a concept...so what?
if anything it's funnier to see it than to hear a description...a true appreciation of comedy knows no bounds. he is a funny guy, consistently delightful.

I find his prop humor barely beyond the level of knock-knock jokes: maybe worth a momentary grin; nothing memorable. Five minutes of classic Carlin material easily smokes Carrot's entire career.
