Have you been able to safely remove those applications that cannot be removed using the market app? Also, since I use linux, I am wondering what others have done with their rooted devices to gain access to the internal memory. I would love to have the MTP application taken out if that is possible. In other words, just mount the device as a mass storage, rather than have that MTP layer. Thanks

i did this and when i tried to plug it in to transfer the last bit i was met with a connection sound but no icon for the tablet also after taking it out of debug mode ever few mins i see media scanner running icon pop up O.o
