Is it worth the price? My bowling alley has one. I dont have a ms pacman, but I DO have an original pacman and donkey kong cabinet? Can it work in those?
Dude this is seriously amazing, i really want to get one of these. Out of curiosity how hard was it to install the board into th machine. Would anyone be able to do it?
=( It makes me so sad when people change the original Ms. Pac-Man chip into a 60-in 1.. The 60-in 1 chip dosen't replicate the games perfectly, and it just messes the game up for me. Wasting an original cab.
@flexyldy To each his own, The original PCB's are expensive and difficult to maintain and the emulation is close enough for 99% of us. The only reason I can see to use original PCB is if you are going for a world record or any type of competitive play. Then of course you will need original pcb but even then so many so called original pcb's are hacked or changed in some way to make then ineligible for competition or Guinness anyway.
I want to make a 60 in 1 for my local community center kind of place. I don't know how to describe it but basically it keeps kids out of trouble by giving them a place to hang out. Nobody really goes there so I want to donate some stuff in order to get them more interested in the place.
yes it can use PC power same 4 pin plug as hardrive you see it in my video PC
i did same thing with my ms-pacman ,,,i got the board from "y-plus technologies" 110.00 US free dilivary and a jama cable 12 bucks i think ....the board video good it svga for computer or rgb at 15khz for arcade monitor
somthun i dont like bout diz iz dat u cant continue... unlike da ms. pacman/galaga 20 yeer reunion... or iz der som dip switch on da pcb 2 put it on continue...
In my experiance if you disable all other games in the options menu apart from the one you like it stays in original game mode - no one would no except on boot up.
I have since purchased a new Well Gardner monitor. It rocks! The old one was fine, just had some screen burn-in. The menu being cut-off on the right side is just the way the board is I found out. The games all are perfect.
what happons on start up can i set it so only 1 game loads and stay so no one can tell the 16 -1 board is in side,,,, what happons when you drop a coin in in the menu ? will you lose your coin ?
hi id like to know same thing can you set the board to not automatically go back to the menu after losing a game without pressing the menu button? I love to be able to leave the cabinet running and have it behave just like it had the original boards in it.
I'm giving serious thought to getting one of these, but I've heard a few complaints that the sound on some of the games distorts like the volume is too high even when it's not, have you noticed that problem? Also what happens when you lose on a game, does it go back to attract mode like normal coin-ops or does it dump you automatically back to the game select menu?
Whoops, I hadn't watched the whole video before asking that last question. So I guess the better question is can you set the board to not automatically go back to the menu after losing a game without pressing the menu button? I love to be able to leave the cabinet running and have it behave just like it had the original boards in it.
The system will always go back to the menu when you have more than one game active. You can activate and deactivate as many games as you want. But, if you have more than one game it always goes back to the menu after the game is over. While in attract mode, it goes from menu to random game attract mode. It's actually a nice feature. If you want the board to play only one game, it will act like that one game and their will be no menu. The sound is off on several games but it's not the best ones.
Really neat. Just wondering that 60 in 1 cabinet's Cost. 3 Arcade games is an expensive hobby. the video colors are off on that cabinet as you said, have no idea what that costs to fix. I personally have MAME on my pc much cheaper.
So let me get this right, you go through all of that trough all that trouble to find a pristine, perfect panted cabinet only to cover both sides? Also, it is pressed between to other cabinets, are you not concerned it will shake when you play, and mess up the artwork? Am I missing something here? Long time VGO listener by the way... love the show.

Thanks for posting this. Nice to see a demo before purchase.
Working on my custom Vanguard cab to jamma adapter, and going to nab one of these. Great pcb to get some extras going with limited space.
Is there any way to make the pcb stay in 'game mode'? Does it always revert back to the main menu at game over?
Arent you the dude thats from chicagoland now on the scene in Boston?
Whenever your back in the Williams Bally/Midway homeland- send a shout out.
Cheers and happy holidays.

Thanks, I think I'm probably going to get one then, they sound hard to beat for a mere $130, which is what I've seen them go for.

So can it still take coins? For example if you wanted to put in a store.

It's not *touching* the other two cabinets so the side art isn't getting scratched. :) Thanks for listening!
