@Lilbuckethead101 Idk I got there right when the doors opened because I wanted to be as close to the stage as I could be. Turns out, he just wanted me ON the stage lol. All I'm gonna say is you are gonna want to try and get as close to his Wah pedal as you can. Trust me.
This guy needs to come to Northampton, England. I know my hometown may be a shithole full of chavs but I simply must see Buckethead live atleast once in my life, but alas, I can not afford to go to the states just to see him live. Come on Bucket you legend!
I'm 50 years old. A blues guitarist for 40 years. I was at my sons home last weekend and he had this music playing. I asked him "who the hell is that", he said "Buckethead". I said what? I came home and plugged in to this. OMG!!! My favorite guitarist, ever. Jesus Christ. I love this guy! Thank you for any and all postingds of Buckethead. Love it!!!!!!
Rare for that too happen, but nice you got an open mind to see the talent.
Buckethead is amazing at composing, technically and hes a kool guy. Not to mention he can not see what hes playing. He pushes the limits and is pretty under rated for it.
@leftyjcw Hahaha, i also had sth like that, but as a son.
I was listening "Pull me Under" by DT, and my father asked me who are they, i told him Dream Theater, said "Right name they picked", i said "you knoe Petrucci ? " said "heard of him" , then i gave him the whole discografy of Dream Theater, JP and Liquid Tension Experiment....He still listens to this...This happend on May 10'.He learned my all the good staff he knew, LED,DeepPurple, Floyd, ThinLizzy, Dio, Rainbow...It was my time to give.
@leftyjcw he is incredible beyond words, ive seen him live 4 times and everytime its different and he plays his soul out on every song, the true essence of a musician, he puts everything he has into making the people happy
@leftyjcw man!!....he really changed my way to think, "see", play, feel,etc......music........if it wasn't for my wife who turns out to be my co-worker at our same officeee!!!!! I would listen to buckethead all day long.....as long as I live!!!
ROFLMFAO @ 4:01-4:18 Take a look at fucking Beavis & Butthead at the nearest stage monitor: Beavis gently caresses and strokes monitor, Butthead taps him on chest, points to himself, then plays some killer air guitar; BOTH nod their heads in obvious approval of such masterful air guitar technique! What caught my attention to this is a voice (the same one talking, talking, talking throughout half the video-maybe that Sony was too good?) saying something like, "This guy is weird, what's he doing?"
Hey AchilleZ.....if that WAS you talk, talk, talking....I'm just busting your balls, so don't get pissed at me (HONESTLY....I woulda been yappin' away, myself) =D
Your Sony has a fantastic microphone.
PLUS, I have to admit, I am JEALOUS that you were there (Beavis & Butthead, too), and I was NOT :(
This show gave me the best night of my life. This is by far my favorite guitarist and these videos show his true skill and his true, well I hate to say it because he has none, but boundaries. It shows what he can really do. This show is by far one of the best concerts I've been to. It shows that he can be agressive with solo's and he can be calm with stuff like this or Ghost-Host. Or both with Soothsayer. Long Live Buckethead!
more of these guys need to be on guitar hero!
