  • Nice.

  • im 10 and he would probably, maybe beat me.

  • hes awesome

  • I do not find that to be the case. I have coached some amazing 6 year olds. The 'hardies' as many call the regular balls wear their arms out quickly. The best kids also hit through softer balls like the Penn T.I.P. a lot better. There is no need for a 6 year old to hit a regular ball yet.

  • OK, when your amazing kids are ready for a match, please let me know.

  • Actually, matches for little kids are worthless. They learn much better with fun games and drills. The goal is getting better, match resuslts for under 12s are meaningless. Kids like Agassi, etc. didn't play matches until 12 plus years old.

  • Actually, the soft balls are way better. Not only is there less stress, but it allows the kids to hit through the ball. See how this boy is swinging full speed, hitting through the ball at full power. That will translate well when he gets older. Compare that to young kids who hit regular balls. They half swing and barely put any power behind it. They concentrate on bunting the ball back to the coach they are hitting with. Their strokes are very flawed and weak as they get older.

  • Good player! Have a look to my son videos:

"Mattia from Trento (Italy) playing tennis 6 yrs old" and the others too.

    Bye

  • Sometimes he looks a bit flat footed but the forehand swings looks very fluent. Good stuff.

  • what brand of ball did the coach use?
