Just so you all know, Xolos actually loose there teeth at around the age of 4. They keep only a few back molars as they are not meat eating dogs in Nature. They also can live over 40 years!

The gene that makes them hairless can cause them to have less or no teeth, I know plenty of older xolos that still have lots of teeth, as well as my own two boys. It's true, they can live for a very long time but 15-20 is average. If you met one you'd soon find out that they are not vegetarian.

As to the age, My parents have a Xolo that my mother brought back from mexico with her 21 years ago and the vet guessed his age to be around 4 or 5 then and is the standard of three sizes.
My family has successfully ran a rescue for 12 years, But i guess you know what your talking about since you own two.
