Yea it is possible but look at the dogs, horses, bees etc:) they are more dangerous then big pythons. And there in Cezech republic aren´t any rules about big snakes

IF you don't like US go and live in Czech. dogs or horses are not man eaters. gators, snake , tiger or lion cubs pets should be banned in USA. I don't like pets eat human. Moreover often snake owners unable to feed and after sometime let the animal loose in the nature which cause harms to civilians instead of donating that snake to animal shelters or zoo. I don't have against snakes should stay where they are supposed to be.

Imagine if the snake's owner got hit by a car and left in the road bleeding for 24 hours... or imagine if my schnauzer got hold of the snake and chewed its lower half off and let it bleed to death... hey... be humane.. be kind.. to both snake and rat: feed frozen meats with vitamins.. warmed in microwave... no live food!
makes the rat suffer for hours?? i never feed live food because i dont think it is neccessary but all my snakes eat there frozen food in several minutes after constricting it even though its dead. Its not animal cruelty, if the snake wont eat dead food it has to eat somthing... and the rats get killed by gas before being sent into a freezer to be fed to a snake so either or doesnt really matter
I realize how old this comment is, but I'm in awe at the stupidity.
1. It takes less than a few minutes AT MOST to kill the rat, not hours like you seem to think.
2. All my snakes don't "take their time eating," as they consume their food rather quickly.
3. You don't warm up frozen prey in a microwave. That's just asking for a potential problem by accidentally cooking the inside of the prey item, and snakes cannot digest cooked meats properly. Please do your research before speaking or writing.
