OH, HELL NO I WANT TO PLAY THIS SO HARD WHY THEY DIDN'T MAKE 2 RESIDENT EVIL GAMES! a cool thing would be make the resident evil 4 like it is now and this 3.5 re be turned into resident evil 5 while resident evil 5 into 6 (in 3.5 uroboros appeared so yhea they were able to do what im saying)and the 6 into 7 :3

Resident Evil 4 is one of my favourite games, but it upsets me that we didn't get this version, as this would have made a fantastic game.

From this video I saw 4 things that carried over to the final version. The 2 music scores pieces the one with hookman is the same music score as the fight with Verdugo, the knights who u have to dodge and of course Leon himself :D pretty cool!

@Leozodiac Yeah I agree with you, because the fog version, the hookman version and the zombie version were actually the same and only version, and guess who was the girl abducted Sherry, (Wesker said he got her on his report) and yeah he was who infected Leon.

I want THIS released! This looks more like the classical Resident Evil all us true fans know and love! And, for the record, I'm only thirteen, and I believe that the old Resident Evil's are better than the new ones, just because they were new and fresh, and they followed that claustraphobic, tense atmospehere that they should have. If they released this (with Leon *drool*) I would be one happy camper!!!!

Damn holy crap, look at those graphics. Those are like better than Wii's graphics, and mind you this would have been on the gamecube. Anyway, why didn't they release this one? It's way creepier and prettier. One thing I don't like in this RE4 is that they try to scare you way too often (unlike, for example, RE1 Archives)

I like the RE4 we got now, but damn.

this looked better as it was using a fixed camera, look at god of war 3, the devleopers can easily put in more "graphics" as the camera stays in one place

The reason a fixed camera may allow more graphics, regardless of pre-rendering. Is it takes less processing power because it's taking part of the interactive variables from the player. Which leaves more for graphics. Not much more, but hey. W.e

@TheCubasy The Wii and gamecube have basically the same cpu and gpu, A wii is pretty much an overclocked gamecube with motion controls.

They should have an RE game where someone gets infected with a virus which messes with his/her mind. We can this Silent Hill-like atmosphere shown in this vid and mix it with some of the nightmare where things get worse and worse and the character mutates.

@NukeA6 It reminds me more of Resident Evil Remake crossed with Eternal Darkness... when you are slowly going insane and hallucinating crazy shit, especially with the door bursting open and the fireplace, and nothing happens. The stuff that doesn't actually happen makes you VERY paranoid. One thing to make RE 6 absolutely terrifying . . . Crimson Heads.

@ryuzakikun96 Because all of the other RE games were about biological weapons and viruses and such, and this one deviated from that theme and went into a paranormal direction, so they scrapped it and created the Las Plagas parasite.

didn't 2, 3 and veronica have the same style as 1??? i know 2 has it, played it a few times but never completely through. i played zero ,1, 4 and 5 and the fixed camera makes for prettier backgrounds and more of a claustrofobic feeling imho

and 4 and 5 are just less scary than previous ones.

no this is a residet evil 4 beta, they scrapped this version and used the resident evil 4 that you know today.

They felt this was too paranormal for resident evil
