At the Stadium these seats were king. They would place you with a full rink view and as close to the ice as the front row on the glass well they were hanging balconies of arenas a lot closer then but I guess it wasnt closer than the front row since it was higher but the full rink view and the effect of the steepness of the 300 level and the closeness it felt like you were hanging OVER the action. Great drama up there too. Fucking fun.

That tradition of throwing an opponent's home run ball back is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. A pro ball, that sees game play, that's involved in one of the coolest parts of the game gets tossed back because it wasn't off of a Cub bat? That and the Hawks anthem have nothing to do with each other, just like the Hawks and Cubs shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence. This is simply one of the best traditions in sports, period. Leave it at that.

It was a tradition at Chicago Stadium. Went to many Blackhawk games there and it was outstanding. The Stadium always Rocked. Chicago Stadium was smaller and it sometimes brought tears to your eyes.

I was at the game it started at .Hawks vs Mosco Dynamo.Dick Redmond got tossed but that was the first anthem that the crowds cheered all the way from start to finish. before that they only cheered at the last 3 lines.
