I was lucky enough to meet her when the children's chorus I was in sang back up at her Christmas concert in Kalamazoo, MI, and she couldn't have been nicer or more down-to-earth. She was liberal with the compliments, gentle, and had a great sense of humor and spirit. I was a fan of hers before, but I downright adore her now. :)
