I did this poomsae a while back. I was out of shape , came back from injury. I was did this to practice not knowing it would end up on YT. We did a better video later that year for instructional purposes the kicks are low, achievable by adults who are not very flexible. Its not the competitive poomsae. I will do better videos in the future. I can go higher , but it was nice to point out that the poomsae kicks are actual moves not to display the height of the kicks which will become unrealistic.
OH! On that note, I should also point out that since this vid was made, they changed it so now the first roundhouse kick, you have to land in a front stance, not horseback stance, so this vid is out of date on that.
no complaints from me. Better form than 90% of the vids I've seen on here. As for kicks MUST be over the head? Incorrect, actually, the WTF standard as of 2011 is that if they are over the head, they missed your opponent, as a poomse is meant to be fighting an opponent of equal size. If your master is telling you to kick over your head with your front kick, that's his prerogative, but he's not teaching you current WTF standards, I'll tell you that much.
