  • If I had a choice between shagging a supermodel and having a ride in this baby - I would simply choose thus, Hey Claudia - sorry bitch, here is a dildo and and your cab fare home. Me and my Panther are off to make some big gun love!

  • Just visited the Panzer Museum in Munster. Great museum!

  • jaaa... er lebt noch, er lebt noch, er lebt noch... jaaaa er lebt noch, er lebt noch, stirbt nicht ^^

  • Dear santa...

  • @giuseppeRraimondo

Whats up with dear santa? I frequently see comments on either Dear Santa or Chuck Norris.

  • @karthikbans i want this for crismas ... dont you know santa claus?

  • @giuseppeRraimondo

Oh i see! pardon me i am new for this kind of communication.

  • that is a scary looking hombre even by todays standards.. this thing must have been very intimidating back in the '40's.. nice work.

  • vroom vroom.. where can i buy one of these :) ?

  • Nice Tank, but US Sherman´s, Abrams and Bradley looking good, too :-) UK Challenger 2 is so sexy :D Greets from Germany

  • @Saint77sDV Challenger II, great tank!

  • Was this taken during WW2 or what? Where is the sound? Gotta hear that magnificent engine roar!

  • @thegoosebrain no, it is either a restored or rebuilt Panzer V Panther, as in title tells you it was filmed 1993, and yes sucks no audio lol

  • Dear Santa...........

  • @lewcore great just great

  • wow!!!

  • Do you, mister lemons, take this beautiful machine to be your lawfully wedded wife?

    I do...

  • T-34 was not reliable, Soviet had poor craftsmanship and won by superior numbers. Early Panther was not reliable due to insufficient testing but later models proved themselves worthy.

  • my grandpa was german my parents moved to the netherlands before i was born but my grandpa was a commander on one of these he died 1 year from now but i still remember talking to him about this tank .. his greatest dream was to see it again so i took him to this panzermuseum 2 years ago .. uppon seeing the panther tank standing there he started to cry .. he saw his biggest love next to my grandma again after +/- 40 years he gave the tank a salute then walked on.. most touching thing ive seen

  • What is the cost of restoring one of these?

  • WTF??? they stole my car not cool lol

  • except is broke down all the time. the t34 was far more reliable..

  • sweet

  • its good to see an operational panther back on german soil!

  • rolling work of art

  • Krupp Stall xD

  • What a long barrel

  • hehe, love the camo paint job.

  • Militär-Rallye You Tube

    OPERACJA POŁUDNIE 1-2 SIERPIEŃ 2009 BIELSKO-BIAŁA

  • I just came a little bit.

  • She's beast!

  • Oh yeah!! I would like to ride this beauty!

  • damn that suckers bad

  • no sound ? come on ...

  • Magnificent!

  • Does anyone else see the problem with the track right around 08:00 to 14:00? Am I seeing things?? The track doesn't seem to be on the ground and just before that as the vehicle moves over terrain the bogies don't travel much.

    Comments?

  • Mr. Hawkheye, you're right, something's happening there. Looks, as if the Panther crosses a knoll and loses contact for a moment or two. I read your comment about camo, please take a look at Tiger-camo, mentioned by me below. I hadn't seen anything like Nr 32, til I discovered this page !

  • Nice page and site. Most of those camo patterns are also shown in a book German Armor Paint and Camoflage, and some others that I have. It was solely dependant on where they were fighting and the terrain features. Paint was either sprayed, brushed or just splashed on the tank to match terrain and I have read accounts of tanks on the eastern front being repainted multiple times as they advanced or retreated.

  • How much time did one need to finish such a colouring? (with dry)

  • @Ixtzalit A Panzer IV could be painted in a few hours and dried within a couple of hours depending on the thinner used for the paint.

  • i like that camo also how is it ugly

  • 5-stars wow! this looks identical to the tamiya 1/35 pahther model I made jan 1980!...and blew up on 4 july 1980 in the back yard sandbox with firecrackers and snakes...how did they know!-milwaukee

  • The color of this tank is correct !!!

You can get more information in the german army tank museum in Munster(Niedersachsen near Soltau) !

  • There is no true correct for German armor camoflage. Remember that the tanks were factory painted either gray or mustard yellow. Each tank came with its own compressor and sprayer, the crew was responsible to camo their own tank. There were some guidelines but no real defined scheme. Paint came as a paste and was thinned with gas. Different mixtures produced different colors, so a platoon could all look like they are different colors.

  • @Eye4Lites Nope. A German tank was assigned it's camoflague when it reached the company it was in. They couldn't just make something up.

  • T-V's were never painted in such cammo - fake

  • Hard to tell. I know, Panther-camo usually shows greater areas of each color. But why not ? Here's something: Google "wacky's rc tank guide & modifications". There you get 99! different Tiger-camos. Now click No32 - and tell me, you knew that this existed for real ! Could be the same with Panther-camo.

    I like this Panther

Btw: Flecktarnung was called "Erbsentarnung" in WWII - funny

  • Flecktarn tarnung.verry effective.

  • The Germans where the first soldiers in wo2 who had camouflage clothing, and manny patterns are stil in use.

  • hehe the german bundeswehr uses a SS camouflage...

  • @Kargaron ahnnnn perhaps u should have a better look nx time ....

  • I like that camo ! The only purpose for any camo is to make you (or your tank) as invisible as possible in your given environment.

  • damn the camo looks uglyyy

  • Bla - bla - bla, SHUT UP AND ENJOY THE F*CKING VIDEO!!!

  • preety

  • The panzer looks so modern compared to the tanks the allies had, except for maybe the T-34.

  • I wonder how American tank commanders felt when their little Sherman tanks had to fight one of these, let alone a Tiger.

  • you answer is on the nickname of the sherman "zippo" because it always lit. they had to ambush or gang up one one of this things.

  • wasn't it called the Ronson effect?

due to the Ronson's slogan "lights every time"

  • i wonder how you'd feel if american tank commanders had'nt fought any panzers? you'd be speak'n german and there would'nt be any mosques in netherlands.

  • I wasn't saying it in disrespect to the men (which I would never do) simply the rather poor equipment the army supplied them with as if they were 'expendable'.

As for the mosques, I really really wouldn't care if they were gone :-)

  • i agree, i've often felt american tank designers should've been shot for treason.

  • Well...Dutch as a language is very close to German and I guess the Dutch could live without the mosques as well....

  • i'm starting to think america needs more dutch & germans because obama is trying to turn u.s.a. into the 58th muslim state. is it posible we could outlive western culture?

  • again,, as the allies landed in Normandy the axis where already on their knees,, ever looked on a map to see where the Soviets stood in 1944? the German army in the east had been on a continuous retreat for a full year.. more like we would have talked Russian..

  • uhm, maybe but doubtfull.remember the axis powers were very close to having the bomb, if d-day was a year later, wouldn't that free up a lot of troops for the eastern front? another year and germany would've regained air superiority with jet fighters. and being a swede don't forget wiking ss.

  • The Germans had little strategic material,, the jet engine of the day lasted just hours (that's why they are hanging under the wings for easy access, plug out old engine plug in new engine)

They had lost the Romanian oil fields, and Soviets grew stronger every day. And the US A-Bomb where not created to counter the Japanese,, so they where toast anyway it went,

got to be happy it ended before the mushroom clouds rised over Europe.

  • all's well that ends well.exept i fear obama is going to bankrupt usa, will china& islam be the next super powers? will they hesitate to use nukes? doubtfull

  • China, well, i think they already own USA if we look at the amount owed to them, but conflict wise what caught my attention was those 140 Abrams tanks that the US "sold" to the Iraqi Army, seems almost like wielding a knife in the face of the Iranians,, if i didn't know better i would see it as training a Iraqi stool y force then send it against Iran and call it a "local" conflict.

  • i'd rather take my chances with china. the muslim population in western europe is growing more&more every year.pretty soon you'll be living under shieria law.will you convert to islam? they only give you 3 chances b'4 they jihad ya.

  • Don't forget that the jet engines didn't last long because they lacked important materials that they couldn't get late in the war.

  • yeah we were lucky it ended before that, thats for sure

  • shut up!!

  • blow me

  • free speech oppressor,, il filibuster your ass on every youtube comment you make if you dont shut the hell up yourself.

  • Awesome tank! My favorite of all time!

  • ever seen a jagdpanther. I have a collection of 38 different german die cast tanks and the jagdpanther is some swesome display of power.

  • Yes indeed I have seen them. They were incredibly powerful as well!

  • yes great camo

  • I'd say the italian campaign camo was the best...

  • I wish there were more of these stll rumbleing about . It would be a hell of a sight !

  • lol screw u!

  • dunkel gelb ovligrun rot braun

  • This is a great machine !

    German technolgy rules!!

  • @Klottelitsch LOL yes but yours tyanks sux in east front

This is bad technology panther was weak engine.20% panthers dont reach prochorovka beacouse they have engine problem thats technology is rulez??..T34\85 wins war simple ,ugly tank wih hi tech armour, good gun and great engine...

  • @katowittz Well I'm sure you'd be the only sucker that would choose to go into battle in 1944 in a Sherman or T34 against a Panther or Tiger. R.I.P., Bro! Plenty of dead Russian and American tankers buried in Europe that felt their tanks were superior to the Germans.

    Prost!

  • @katowittz

it is cleary you don't know shit, the tiger for example had a kill death ratio of about 5,8 In total the losses were 1715 tigers against 9850 enemy tanks. 13 tankcommanders were able to inflict over 100 tanklosses in a single tiger. Your t34 won the war for you, but that was thx to Quantity instead of QUALITY, you're t34/85 were no match for king tiger tanks, thats just a fact

  • @thebiest100 i agree but russian build josef stalin 1 and 2 to fight with king tiger .Russian build t 34/85 for tiger 1 fight and pz 4 and panther. This med cant penetrate tiger aus b but josef stalin have no problem with tiger and king tiger.King tiger is usless in east front .They have meny engine problem and traction.Only some bridges can handle with king tiger mass and he have no speed .Easy targets to tanki killers(infantry units) and planes. Not only technology win wars mate .

  • @katowittz No i know, but the tiger & panther tanks were the best tanks in the field thats just the fact. Indeed they had many mechanical problems, but that was because they were needed immediately insteed of slowly testing and improvening as what happend to the the t34 and followers. That was germany's biggest strategical fault in the war, building a tank beyond the known tanks. For every tiger built 6 panzer iv were not built. if properly tested, they were the shit

  • @katowittz

The T-34 did not win the war...the german destoryed russian tanks quicker as the russians could build them.... only land lease and delivery of huge numbers of british and us tanks saved the russians from running out of tanks! Early T-34 were extrem weak too... there was a report of a russian tank regiment that nealry lost all their T-34 during the march to the front because of technical problems in 1941

  • @nagmashot

total russian war tank production 76.827 (14,923 light tanks, 53,582 T-34, 8,322 heavy tanks) total russian tank loses 1941-1945 83,500 ... the Wehrmacht destroyed 6673 tanks more than russia was able to produce betwen 41 till the end of the war in 45... without the 12,000tanks delivered from the USA and UK the russian would have collapsed in 1942, not to forgett the 200,000trucks 400,000Jeeps, 13,000locomotives and wagons, 24,000aircraft etc.

  • Bull Shit

  • @katowittz

what a great replay from someone lacking fundamental tank knowlege and sharing his lack of knowlege by posting at youtube... get some books and read facts

  • @nagmashot Mate i read hundred books about tanks and war:D....Greathings...and good luck

  • @katowittz

I was a tanker and I was inside this tank seen in the video ;) try to impress someone elese with your knowlege NOT... your claims done at this video are mostly nonsens with nothing to back up claims... T-34 reliable.. yeah sure with one of the worst tank transmissions of ww2

  • @Klottelitsch Corrextion:German technology ruled :P

  • If you you guys go to wikipedia and search panther tank, I think the tank above will be display at the page.

  • i can't stop watching this superb machine

  • Runas 'SS'

  • Great video, i just love the camouflage pattern. But where is the sound?

  • nice to see one still running.

  • Geiler Panzer!

Leider

  • Shes a beautiful tank, I want one.

    German steel FTW!

  • Effective camouflage!

  • ""Effective camouflage!""

Except for the wheels...which stand out like spinning discs. In real life, Panther crews didn't paint camouflage on the wheels. They left them in the base colour.

  • Yeah. Spinning objects have the opposite effect. More visible. Overall it's still better than solid olive drab paint.

  • only propaganda videos about them i think :/

  • so where are good german movies about Peiper,Witmann or Wunsche ?...

  • now at last rich americans can make movies with real "Panthers"

  • At last? Look at the year it was recorded lol.

  • Isn't she beautiful? Masterpiece of german engineering!

  • @Skilppari yeah shes so beutifull and those tracks gotta love how they are designed to roll over people. not to mention the thosands that died to this lovely "masterpiece of FASCIST engineering.

  • @tsetsoooo haha! Q_Q_Q__Q_Q_Q_Q_Q

  • @tsetsoooo yep gotta love that masterpiece of Fascist engineering and to state the obvious about an implement of war being designed to kill people well thats just stupid

  • @centurious1971Please don`t forget that you are using everyday things that was initially designed to kill people.

  • @Skilppari yep beautiful :)

  • @Skilppari oh yea she is :)

  • beauty

  • I could watch that all day.

  • Well restored Ausf A command tank

  • Ausgezeichnet!

  • This panther is my favourite restored "a" version. I've only ever seen it in books and stuff. I made a model of it once. Cool tank.

  • The book about the Pantzer Lehr division has a few pictures of it.

  • The Königstiger was the best tank in WW 2 !!!

  • yeah in when u see gun and body kit. but the engine was not created for this weight and it was very difficult to produce and took very much oil. for my the Panther-Tank was the best tank ( it's a medium tank ). German Wehrmacht forever!

  • + The fact you could shoot it to pieces more easily. :-\

  • true, but also made it possible to make 10 russian tanks for the same money that the germans made to build 1 (the numbers arent really correct but you get the point ;) ) though i do like the german tanks more :)

  • Yeah I understand and agree.

However one point is often misunderstood.

Soviets used their tanks like they used their infantry. Like throwing water on fire.

Most vaporizes but eventually it will go out.

The same with their tanks and men. Doesn't matter how many die. Eventually we will win.

    Horrible thought.

  • yes, the russians had poor tactic :D totally agreed there. i mean, if you can't even retreat when your being slaughtered? i think that you'll start wondering why your fighting the enemy. they actually care more for you then your own leaders :D

  • why poor tactics? if you are counting tanks cassulties it isnt right russian used flanikng tactics vs heavy tanks such as pz V pz VI you needed at least 4 t-34 on that beast if it was supporting with few pz4 and pz3 it was more difficult to get those they used to get these by flanking them from back to get his engine where is exhaust valves

  • well, you can try to bomb them. but the russian airforce wastnt great (as far as i know)

  • the front hull on pz V and VI models armour was to difficult to penitrate by 76 mm gun but if you can get closer and from front side of it you could penitrate it thats how they used to get heavy tanks on battlefileds you must read about Kursk battle there is more info about how they use to get them it wasnt poor tactic

  • Yea, but it was not particularly helpful because the russian tanks could not win a 1 vs. 1 battle with a German tank. There are intances of a single Tiger I or Jadgpanzer holding up entire russian divisions, because they had more firepower and better range.

  • I would like to read about that do u have sources?.. I do believe you .. I just want to read

  • There were reports of a Ferdinant / Elephant tank at Kursk, which caused problems (as described by FlyLikeLucyintheSky). But they killed it later in an ambush!

  • Dude, You don't have to AMBUSH the Elephant. All you have to do is PASS the thing! I don't know of a single tank battle where these things were usefull. Anyhoo... Laters...

  • I know that it was useless as a tank, but the gun was still powerful. It was like a movable bunker. And the range the gun could reach was a big problem for the soviets. The reports about that exists. But i agree, that they should have made more Panthers and Jagdpanther or Jagdpanzer4 instead of building bigger and unagile tanks..

  • a is-2 could tear this tank apart mate. a t-34-85 would have a good go at it... simple fact is 1v1 never happened russian armour nearly alwaysed out numbered german tanks

  • Hm, would hate to point out the obvious, but the IS-2 adn he Panthre were pretty much an equal match

  • thats true, but the fire optics of the panther were veryyyyy much better

  • i agree

  • the panther was a so called medium tank at 43 tons and the tiger 1 was a heavy at 56 tons the 75m panther gun was a match for the tiger 1 88m gun due to its long barrel and high velocity , the panther was slightly faster ,cheaper to build and more agile i hope that answers your question

  • nice tractor. just kidding.

what is the difference between a Panzer V and a panzer Tigers or Panther?

  • panzer v is panther, tiger is like a bigger version of panther with more armor and a better gun.
