@annoythefish "A story can't be told forever," but a good story shouldn't be cut too soon either. There are many shows that have run for 8, 9, even 10 seasons. If they decide to make season 5 the final season, Breaking Bad would only have ran for half that amount on the air. It would be disappointing especially with a show of this quality.
@DarkReapersGrim a "show of this quality" would no longer exist if you'd strech it out up to 10 seasons. the whole storyline of this show is entangled and highly prognostic of what is going to happen. season 5 will most likely center around walts loss of morality and hank catching up to him. jesse confronting walt will most likely happen as well. would make for an perfect finale. imo
@MrMushroom123 don't forget about mike, I always saw him as a good guy. Regardless he's a badass, I like that they didn't cast some young super ripped person to play as the top guy.
@DarkReapersGrim If you can find a show with 10 seasons of near-perfect quality episodes, please let me know.
EVERY show I've seen (albeit not much) that have gone past 5-6 seasons go downhill. This includes dramas such as House and Dexter, or comedies such as The Office, HIMYM and Friends.
The only example I could think of from my limited palette of shows would be The Simpsons, which declined only much, much after 10 seasons.
I'm for one glad BB is ending in 5 seasons. Quality over quantity.
@CyberDeadly As always. The only time he's remotely alive is when he's interviewing a female guest and that's only cause he's being a creeper and hitting on them.
that letterman, at the end when he goes like "I know that", defensive unfunny man

"Wow, this is like *insert dated reference here*"- David Letterman.

Bryan Cranston completely carrying the interview.
David Letterman being about as responsive and capable an interviewer as a stroke victim.
