The Flip Mino HD totally sucks hard!

The Flipshare software freezes up, and I cant make a movie!

Flip support ignored me, after more emails they lied to me about a "patch" upgrade, and now they are totally ignoring me again

It's most likely that your desktop pc or laptop does not have enough resources to run a video editing program. Usually video editing is a highly demanding software that takes up alot of ram and cpu usage. hit cntrl,shift,esc at the same time and find out if that is your problem by doing some testing.

I love the flip! Especially the HD one its small and easy to carry around, it and has great quality when you import it onto your favorite movie maker, and it works great in Sony Vegas Pro and Sony movie studio! I recommend it. :D

@noveditzmee I used to have the same problem when trying to import onto WMM before getting Sony Vegas, I know there is a way, but I never could figure it out. I know WMM really works well with .AVI formats. For me .Mp4 and .WMV formats don't work at all in WMM :P Sorry, I'm probably no help :(

@evereverman lol this is the old model the new model which i have the Flip Mino HD 2nd gen has a bigger screen and its anti glare also it has a built in Stabalizer so when you move around alot the video it self wont move as much

This was posted before there were any official YouTube posts. I have the product...it truly rocks and you can customize the design of the exterior with your own logo/photo or any of the designers on their site! Very easy to use but you cannot judge the video quality easily here because it is recompressed! I recommend you get one for around $200 it is the best thing out there unless you want to spring for a Sony SR-11 which is stellar. The Mino HD is even OK for a multi-camera shoot.

Sony SR-11! This has no chance to the SR-11! SR-11 is almost a profesional camcorder, but this is just sortof a small clips and behind the scenes thing, but it's still good! I dont think you could compare this to a proper HD camcorder.
