I don't agree with some of their political views, but to me, they seem like real people, who love music. And that is hard to find artists like that these days. They have some of the most beautiful and complex music arrangements in their history. Great, great band. I am male and straight and I just love them.
I just love these two women so much. They have made some amazing music and they still do. "Poseidon and the Bitter Bug" is an amazing album, get it now !
I can't believe he asked such a stupid question about whether being lesbians impacts on their lives, their music, etc. God, what an old fart he is! I can't believe they managed to keep straight faces being interviewed by such an inept interviewer.
Many, many people are still ignorant and their lifestyle choices are such an integrated part of who they are and their expression (music) that it is an important question. The question allowed them to take the answer wherever they wanted.
I am straight and not completely comfortable with alternate lifestyles and the Indigo girls have absolutely had an impact on my attitudes. They are both beautiful souls that I believe have pushed tolerance and respect past a political issue to a human issue.
I am 42 years old. . . . NOT interviewing people on TV. . . . did he. . . . just ask. . . what is . . . "Rock the Vote".. . ?? I don't think there's been anybody since CSNY that harmonizes the way you two do. Thanks for all of the music. . . . and thanks for 12:00 Curfew. . . . . whew. . . . I LOVE IT!!!
If you appreciate good music, these ladies aren't chained to the label of their lifestyles. Beautiful songs and exceptional lyrics overcome all boundaries. They are fantastic and their creative longevity proves it. Keep going IG.
I live on a river, in the woods, in a house...LOL! I, personally, have always thought she lived in a tent or a shack somewhere. Thanks for clarifing Amy. :)
Love these women and the musicial genius that is them collectivly and seperatly. Rock on ladies!
every time I hear them speak I just want to hang out with them.. they truly live what they sing for and i am continuously inspired by their devotion to social justice.
Mr. Rose had a faulty heart valve, and had emergency surgery last year. My mother has a similar condition, and lacks energy. Mr. Rose has no reputation for alcohol consumption. I am sure he would love your remarks. If you speak for these musicians, then they do not deserve the publicity exposure derived during from the interview.
Thank you, thank you, thank you... for posting this! Gotta love the dual mix of earnestness and humility (especially when coupled with music and lyrical genius).
"What do you mean, "you live in the woods"???? This guy is a piece of work.

I think the interviewer did fine. You can tell he is a little uncomfortable discussing their sexuality, but I think most older guys would be.
