The rings he got with the scope are .22 or "airgun" style, aka they are 11mm Dovetail rings. The kind on his gun were Weaver/Picatinny style. They are a different size than Dovetail.
You can get this same exact scope with Weaver/Picatinny rings as well, usually for about $28 online.
i have a problem with this scope....it wont seem to attach to my tsd sd700 sniper rifle..u said that u had to buy different rings, which rings did u buy?

35 yards is the parallax setting. Some scopes have adjustable parallax. This one's fixed. Google "parallax error".

@bevikid i got the wrong rings too i had to buy extra it depends how big ur tactial rail is for the rings its different for every gun
