poor stock fd3s RB type Auto version:( just 255bhp on a healthy engine. I own 2 manual FD3S 2001 TYPE R and 2000 Bathrust R the one though is single turbo fully mod but just for track and drag racing. the official mazda papers for jdm rx-7's 2000-2002 generation say the engine with proper oil service and turbo boost no more than 0.86 if u running stock intercooler and ecu might last over 100k. But i doubt that. ive changed my type R engine on 86k thats y i fully modified it. no problems now.
@metan021185 i'm pretty sure they last longer than that.. maybe i'm thinking of ones with water/alcohol injection, apparently with water injection they can outlive toyota engines
@blizzardbmw modded yes. not stock. u can buy 6 speed gearboxes from quaife with automatic shifting, but not from mazda! the RX7 FD3S is a pure sportscar, who would drive an RX7 with a automatic shift electronic?
@AtzengamerMemphis there are plenty of then with automatic..believe it or not ^^ I own a FD myself (manual for sure) but seen others with automatic transmission (also on youtube videos)

it was 138k but problem was not low compression, it vas bearing problem. wrong service with oil.
