WHAT?!?! thats not how u train a horse to jump!! lol then i got to the end i was like ohhhh ok i see what they did there haha that horse is trained very well! the way he does the small circle to the jump even with being in that huge arena is great! i hope when i can get to my horse to start training her that she will end up like this beauty! ive done it once before (with a horse that wasnt mine *sigh*) so im sure i can do it again!

I do this same thing with my horse. I could turn him out in a huge open field with no halter or rope or anything and he's learned the voice and hand commands and I can get him to follow me go over jumps by simply pointing to them and all kind of stuff......its great =D

Almost right that is; it wasn't that I didn't give him the que to jump at first, I had to tell him NOT to jump since this is something he really enjoys. I am blocking him with my bodylanguage in the beginning (and he's a little confused by that!) and then in the end I tell him that it's Ok to jump again. Good observation :)

The horse in the background was Fabuloso`s wife. She wasn`t as playful as him and kind of just rolled her eyes at our childish ideas. Having said that, she was a great horse! She passed away last year and is greatly missed by us all. Fabuloso (the grey P.R.E. stallion "Andalusian horse" in the clip) has now a new wife and a little foal with him as well.
