No one has shown a video of a tiger killing a 1800 pound salt water crocodile, especially in the water. Also none has actually shown the tiger killing a huge brown bear. Show the videos of it.

Tigers can kill crocs, but not when they are in water. Crocs have a huge advantage in water. Jaguars can take down Alligators, and Jaguars are relatively smaller than Alligators. This would be the same for a tiger and a Croc, when it comes to strength and size. However, if a Croc manages to land a bite on the Tiger, chances are that the Tiger will be a goner. Conversely, the same can be said if the Tiger get's on top of the Croc, the Corc is a goner as well.

Oh please, FLIPPING an 1800lb reptile? Thats just bogus. And FYI, I have worked with crocodiles, and that animal in the picture is NOT even close to 1800lbs. If you've ever seen a croc that big, it's size would be obvious. The tiger seems to be almost as big as the crocodile. And if it was a Suderbans Tiger, (One of the smallest S.S. of tiger) then this crocodile is no more than 500lbs.

And also, the croc shown on that picture sure as hell wasn't 1800 lbs as the tiger was barely smaller than the croc in the image; and the largest tiger on record is an "astounding" 857 lbs.....The tiger in that image was deffinitly not even close to being so much as 600 lbs.

i think what some people dont realize is that 1 ton weight will be a liability on land, when facing a cat so fast that it makes your head spin.

Also crocs are cold blooded (ectotherms). fighting on land will raise their heart rate body temperature to a critical level.

In water it will be a different story altogther

@use2slam2 with all due respect, tigers have notoriously killed Saltwater crocodiles (largest crocs) on several occasions, there's a clip on youtube highlighting it where a FEMALE Bengal tiger ruthlessly killed a Saltwater Crocodile.

i think you're right in that it's unlikely that a tiger would win in the water, but remember it has immense swimming potency, and its paws and teeth can shatter around a ton. but if a croc entered the land, the tiger's killed it for sure.

tigers are amazing. on land, they can kill a crocodile without problems. crocs are much too slow. deal with it, crocs have no hope against a tiger on land, no matter how big the croc is. the only chance for a croc against a tiger is in the water.

I really want to know where these accounts of crocodiles killing tigers are, I have never seen a credible one ever. Also 1800lbs is much heavier than any tiger so how is the crocodile stronger pound for pound? Crocodiles can kill tigers but usually through ambush rather than face to face fights.
