My heart is broken Zenyatta did a Seabiscut move! Just a second to late. Everyone think, she is an amazing horse, maybe not your favorite but you have to admit back off the pack comes in, is trapped, looses luck, finds opening runs out tries to catch Blame. A STRIDE LATE! :O

Besides her 4 other wins, I really don't think sh does. Yes she had a great overall career, but really Blame will get it. He won 6 times this year, and defeated America's Horse.

@queenluciaa Blame didn't even race 6 times this year let alone win 6. Plus, he lost in embarrassing fashion to Haynesfield (who didn't do ANYTHING in the Classic) in the JCGC. You need to get off the haterade. Zenyatta deserves horse of the year and she is, was and always will be a much better horse than blame, who now retires because of his disgusting connections.

@queenluciaa He barely had the room he needed. Mike Smith, admittedly, started Zenyatta terrible and started her stretch ROMP, too late. Z is a MUCH better horse than blame.

Run the race again, Blame still wins. If you noticed, Blame was still accelerating at the end, and never let Zenyatta pass from the Gallop out. Excuse me for my typo. I'm not a hater, In fact I'm a fan of Zenyatta. Shes a wonderful mare, but Blame IMO is better. In the JCGC he was bumped about 4 times, and had a terrible start. Disgusting connections? Sweetie, this is a business. And Blame is the money. His stud fee is 35,000. Don't Blame them for having to pay off the bills.

@queenluciaa good post, c yur point about business end agree 100%... but w/blames smooove undisturbed ride until he kinda split horses at top of stretch - but they parted for him nicely - he shoulda won soundly by a length and a half or more not a half a head to horse that was gaining on him w/an atrocious ride cuz of mike not doing the job he admitedly shulda done. she did the best she could to make up for his mistakes. 1 & 1/2 lngths or more blame better... 1/2 a head under circumstances zen
