james was part of a royal family, originally from england, so in that sense he was english, i dont hate scots because we are basically part of the same country, but ultimately, u should face up 2 the fact that england is the centre of the uk, and is, the most successful of the 4 nations, after all, what language are you speaking. that said, us english are basically german foreingers anyway so it doesnt matter, if it helps scotland is the most powerful nation originally from the uk.
