RMR: Rick in Gros Morne National Park

When I went in 2008, I saw about 3 moose and some young moose walking around near the entrance to the mountain. Up top there were some near the beautiful lake up on the backside of the mountain. Didn't see a bear though!

i have lived n newfoundland all my life and have only seen moose about 5 times unless you go into the forsert you prob wont see one

was that a 'r.c.a.' touch after the tempt? what was it for? now i see why the moose in the pic was calm, she seems to like you did you see it look back at you? they are tall animals she seems taller than you, do they smell mooseyish! i heard the female moose bathes in a pond full of male urine, awesome video.

Gros Morne and all of Newfoundland is the most amazing place on the planet. HOWEVER! I have been there twice now for 10 days each trip and have not seen ONE SINGLE MOOSE! I think the Newfies are playing a prank!!

@purplishhue I finally saw a few Moose this July when I was there! FINALLY! One of them, had I been going more than the 40km/h I was, would have been through the windshield! Gorgeous creatures but dumber than a post!!
