They know when their alone, they know when there not loved, they know when and if there owners abuse them. Dont get a dog for abusing. dont get it to blow up a firecracker in its mouth (TO THAT SICK BASTARD!!!).. your just wasting something thats ment to be loved.. all they want is a home, why take advantage of that>?

this is heart breaking :( 10 seconds into this video, i had to pause it. No animal deserves to be abused. Everything deserves a chance to live. Please, if your considering a dog, please check the shelter or pound. Dont pick a fancy purebread first, get one thats blind, 3 legged, loney, ect. Give it a chance to relive. dont leave your animals when you move. How can people do that when they know the leaving a soul there to suffer, and starve! I really want a dog of my own now and I've looked at many MANY different kinds of dogs, but I couldn't find just the right kind. then i got interested in becoming a vet and checked into shelters to see what it was like. I am still amazed by how many GORGEOUS dogs are in shelters. Even more surprising, almost 25% of dogs in shelters ARE purebred! I have totally decided to adopt my dog.

Im grateful to see people in Lebanon getting help but im sad that there is no support for these animals and this shelter barely gets money.

I think that anyone who wants to bring their pets into the animal shelter, or to breed pets should have to watch a few animals get 'put to sleep'

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather them leave their dog at the shelter than to dump them in the country.

One of the saddest things I've ever had to do was to help gas a mother dog and her 8 puppies (Plus several other dogs) at a facility that simply didn't have money/food/help/place needed to keep them.

Thank u atsis! i found my dog cookie in the street and she's been with us for 3 years, we love her like a human being! i live in beit-mery and there a so many stray dogs, pliz if someone wants a dog, contact me coz BETA can no longer take animals and our neighbours hurt the stray dogs coz they disturb them. Thank you, but the issue that I want a male Golden Retriever. I would have very much like to help, but i can't have a dog I don't bind with on many levels. It would be another crime to have a dog that you didn't want in the first place, thank you for the info and I hope someone worthy would have the German Shepherd female dog.
