Awww the arcade, I remember I wanted a PS3 for my b day december 08, but my parents got me an arcade instead. I was upset at first, but it was the best thing that could have happened to me. At the time, the PS3 had no real exclusives, just multiplatform games (which ran at slower frame rates and inferior antialiasing), it wouldn't be until Dec of 2009 that an improved and cheaper PS3 would come out and I got it! The arcade may have had no memory and no wifi, but it helped me pass the time.

what microsoft doesnt want you to know is this is the second best edition in not getting the rrod. ive heard stories of this not gettiing the rrod the whole time they had it (sent it in for slim). its because everyone thinks its shit and buys the pro...and the pro is the most likely to get rrod (because its the oldest model). i goes

1st one made= pro

2nd= elite

3rd= arcade

4th= slim.

the newest ones are more prone to rrod.

@furiouskid100 yea it is very possible. The older versions were made to get the rrod (obviously all of them but the slim can its just the oldest ones have a better chance). The arcade is NOT a bad console. The elite is a great console....and dont be worried about the rrod. If you get the rrod...im telling you right now...definitely DO NOT send it in. Microsoft fixs it...but gives it a new date to get it again (trust me my bro over at apple told me when he worked 4 xbox they just give it a new 1.

you can play any games on arcade my xbox is an arcade and i can play mw2 black ops gears of war and many games not only that you can download games from the marketplace either you download the trial or buy the game in the xbox 360 arcade but there is one problem the HDD is sold separately

@TheHardysfan5 You need xbox live gold for online gaming, silver will give all other things and occasionally you can play for free online at weekends and to connect it to your router either with Ethernet (faster) or wi fi adapter for $60 which is slower and could be much slower.

I don't have a 360 but building computers is my hobby and so I know a lot about tech. Hope this helps you.

@GamerStudios13 it really doesn't because the power brick is smaller and doesn't use much power, it's only 150 watts, and the normal power brick on the elite and preium systems power brick has bigger power bricks and have 350 watts thats enough power to kill your xbox, especcially when play for long periods of time! i had the original white one and it ucked up bad, when i got the arcade system, it ran perfect.
