You probably already knew this, but for the steady 4-5-4-7 throughout the song, he uses a WahWah pedal, he cranks up his mids and turns his terble down, and leaves the pedal on and sometimes moves it up a little to turn up the treble in the pedal, this creates the muddy, but smooth sound.Your guitar for this part is extremely sharp ( not as in sharp or flat ) but when listening to for a while, becomes a tad agitating, just a notice ^_^. Use the WahWah if you have one
