Sorry, I can't buy into stories about the old house having been haunted. I need actual evidence, as I'm not just going to take someones word for it. So if someone wants to believe Cielo was haunted by Tate or Folger, be my guest. There just isn't any proof of it.
Such a shame the beautiful original house was knocked down to make way for that massive new house. Totally loses all the old house's charm. So sad the events that happened there.

That new house is a monstrosity. Hardly fits on the hill--gouche 'nouveau hollywood' (ie from other countries, ahem). Its a desecration to that hill--and they should have left a park there as a memorial--GREED--that is what America is all about instead of respect.

2). Manson 's connection to Terry Melcher led him to choose this house.
3). The current resident of the new property "Villa Bella" is producer Jeff Franklin.
4). Manson's song "Cease to Exist" was used on the Beach Boys album 20/20 (c 1969)
5). Jeff Franklin would go on to produce TV shows like "Full House."
6). Who would regularly guest star on "Full House" over the years but the Beach Boys.
