hi, I haven't ever owned a dog and was wondering if a Rottweiler would make a

good first dog, are they really that bad, I understand that they can be dominant but

I wil show my dominance when its a puppy...I really want one but haven't owned a dog before....my question is can I keep a Rottweiler as a first time dog??

i love females! They seem so much more eager to please! My female is trained just like this, plus personal protection. They are great dogs! So stereotyped. We had 9 kids out in the yard with her playing and running around from ages 2 and up, she just walks around wagging her tail, happy to look after them. Even happier if they have food on their faces! lol

Got my first Rottie, was worried at first about the reputation but her mother was so sweet. My rott is 7 1/2 months and is the smartest, most obedient pet I've ever owned or known. Sweet as pie, never seen her angry.

@doberman22kr take her to a obediecne classes if you are not sure how to train. They will teach you and you can work on it at home. Its very important for Rotts and other powerful breeds. They need to have a job or they get bored then bad. Check out my videos!

I wana ask something about my rottie!

he is almost 10 weeks old now.. and i got like 5 days ago! i took him away from his mother and when i brought him back home he was sooo afraid for 2 days.. and still he doesnt play alot and he doesnt welcome me when am back home.. he loves me and when i go to sleep he cries cause he wants me next to him.. is this gona stay for a while or will it stop?

i can teach him lots of commands once he starts being playful and all! :(

Tyson is great now! hes just amazing i taught him like 23 commands maybe more so far! and hes wonderful! i just cant seem to get him to heel like this video yet hehe! its really hard actually! Tyson is 5 months 19 days today! and hes so obedient to me and to the rest of the family! he loves animals but cause i let him stay 2.5 months with his mother he needs a bit more time to adjust when he meets new people but eventually he adopts :D LOVE HIMM
